    It should work with 2 matrix busses in SQ.
    One Mono, one Stereo.

    Qu L -> ExtIn Matrix 1 -> stack 1
    Qu R -> ExtIn L!! Matrix 2 -> stack 2
    SQ L -> L Matrix 2 -> stack 2
    SQ R -> R Matrix 2 -> Stack 3

    Cheers

    Hi Mark,

    The only thing you have to do, is summing for Stack 2 the R of Desk1 and L of Desk2.

    Desk1 L -> Stack1
    Desk1 R -> Summing Device -> Stack2
    Desk2 L -> Summing Device -> Stack2
    Desk2 R -> Stack3

    Better to do this Analog, eg that device is great:https://apb-dynasonics.com/product/mixswitch/#4

    If you want to sum digital, be aware of the Latency, to stay phase coherent!!
    So L and R have to go the same signal-path!

    Hi Thorsten, welcome!

    ad 1) and 2)
    it’s up to you 😉

    ad 3)
    The SQ series are equipped with a signal switching matrix for all In’s, Out’s, Inserts, Direct Out’s, Listen Bus.
    This means you can use the analog (or digital) Socet’s for what ever you want!
    Aux-bus out next to some Insert Send’s and inbetween group out’s.

    Have look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxMyrGDmLIE

    That would be very nice!
    But A&H is not willing to provide a unprocessed LR or Aux bus Signal for the matrix…

    Would be very nice to have, already discussed here!

    Can you give us a diagram of your setup?
    Where are you Surroundspeaker get the feed?
    Aux-busses? Matrix-busses? Groups?

    Why is the producer mic routed to this feed?

    Hi Folks,

    Anyone else interested in some more midi implementation?

    Get the current recalled scene?
    + Name

    Remote shutdown?

    Current “SEL” Channel?

    Hi,
    Sorry I was wrong…
    dsnake is doing 40in, 40out.

    But AR2412 can’t be dasychained…

    Hi Poli84,

    I think there is no way to connect 2x AR2412 to the GLD.
    The dsnake Protocol seems to be only for 32 input channels. So you can NOT dasychain them.
    Don’t know if you can connect the second AR2412 to the ACE option card for the GLD.

    At the SQ this is possible via the slink option card. So you can connect both AR2412 but then there is no 3rd Port to do the link to the GLD…

    Maybe a GX4824 can be your solution!

    Hi tourtelot,

    You’re mixing Surround with SQ? Via Aux-mix-send? Interesting!!

    You can use the footswitch connection of the SQ. There you can have 2 User defined Keys (ring + Tip) -> built a switch to control both of them in parallel (together). So with one you can unmute the slate mic inside the desk, and at the same time with the second mute eg. a DCA with all your Speaker Sends, or a MuteGroup.

    Another way can be via Midi (Bomebox)…

    Or you can use the mixer remote ‘mixing-station’ there you can create user layouts. Perhaps it’s possible to build a 2 Button Layout to unmute / mute the mic and in parallel your Speaker Sends.

    I think DIM would be very tricky…

    Or you can do a internal digital loop via the Dante card to get your Speaker outputs back into a input channel, and use the ducker of the inputs…

    Hi MikeC,

    You’re right, the scenario I’ve written is called “buzz” or “hum” in english or?

    audio clip will help 😉

    Hi Soundave,

    Another idea:
    You can create different scenes:
    Scene 1: soft rotaries are aux 1-4
    Scene 2: soft rotaries are aux 5-8
    And so on…
    Recall Filter on everything, exapt the soft rotaries.
    Then via Softkeys you can recall that scenes to change the control parameters of your rotaries!

    greetings

    Hi,
    Check to use the recorder without the AC-Adapter. As a test run the zoom only on battery!
    Sometimes you can get a loop via this power line supplys.

    If this is the case, you have to isolate you line-signal connection.

    greetings,
    dd
