    Hi Stuart,
I like your idea but I have no possibility to check it.

If you’ve a look here it should work:

    Let us know!
    Thanks!

    Hi DFT,
this is the SQ Forum, and the Screenshot is taken from an SQ Desk.
I took a look at the QU Block Diagram, there is no such Width processing Block.
So I think on your QU Desk this Block won’t exist…

So you will have to use 2 Mono Inputs and Pan them to the middle!

    Hi DFT,
The Screenshot shows the Input Section of a Stereo!!! Input channel. This Stereo processing is not available on Mono Input Channels. But you can define any odd-even channel pair as Stereo!

Unfortunately this Stereo processing is not available on Busses…
    But maybe in future 😉
    greetings

    Hi Steffen,

    did I understand it corecctly?
You want a FX with only routing possibilities to replace an internal FX with hardware outside the desk?

    Correct!
Maybe with a fixed Delay to get phase coherence…

    Hi Steffen,
But why is it possible to route the FX-Return to Physical Outs but not with the FX-Sends?
This structure makes no sense for me at least…
Ok maybe for recording the wet FX only…

    Hi Keith,
Thank you for the answer and for your work to build useful consoles.
There are 3 cases where this option would be great.

    1) MS could make Sense to control the mid-signal as mono channel without changing the side-channel and do the decoding in the group.

    2) special but for me very important case:
I’ll need only one group to use the haas-effekt on live performances.

    In Detail:
Stage, some band or what ever in the middle, and at one side a speakers-desk (lectern) or something like this.
Instead of panning the speakers mic with the Pan (intensity) I used to delay one side of the PA System.
But I need 2 mono groups (one is delayed, one not) an routed to one PA side.

With the stereo processing i can use one stereo group swap L and R, to the delay and route it to LR.
The Input Channel will be send to LR AND!! to this group, but hard Pan to one side (where the localisation has to be)
Because of the L-R swaped group the other PA side will be delayed.

Benefit 1: need only 1 group, no matter on which side the localisation should be!!!!

    This would be awesome!!!!

So there can be build different delay panning a with different groups.

Hope I explained this really complex thing correct. But for me it would be a real great thing – with more or less “no” processing effort of the desk.

    Thanks for your attention!
    Greetings,
    Johannes

+1 or any kind of usb controller.
But I think there is the whright usb host port missing…

Or at least to implement a dummy FX unit which is bypassing the signal from FX Send ( of course with delay to get the phase coherence) to the FX Return and then it’s already possible to route it to an Output as written above.
But in this case the FX Slot is lost…
    Greeting’s!

    An other question:
Why isn’t it possible to route the FX send Busses to physical Outputs?

So I can use it to do Reverbs with the Dante Card, while using the FX Slots for phase coherent Insert processing.

And why is there a possibility to route the FX Returns to physical outputs?
I don’t get the sense of this idea…

Thank you guys for tuning and tweaking this console!

    Hi,

Encoder Problem also on my desk at the EQ Gain Control.
CW (boost) no Problem, but CCW is anoying…

is there a way to get the right encoder as spare parts?
Is there anyone out there with an Service Manual?

How expensive was your repair Tonmeister Daniel?

    Thanks for the Help!!!

    LG johannes
