You have to patch you main LR bus to some physical output sockets
You have to unmute your main LR bus
You have to open the main LR fader2022/07/15 at 12:01 pm #108037+1.000
espacially for deEsser.
Some brand’s can implement the desser in the channelstrip and use this rocissing power, available in the channel, to get as many deEssers as channels.A&H SQ needs the processing power of ONE WHOLE FX-Slot to compute an DeEsser… =(
And when inserted into a mono channel… it’s whole FX Slot for a Mono DeEsser.@ Keith:
What’s the idea behind it?
I can use best Quality dynamics in the channelstrip – but the DeEsser need’s to be insertet via an FX-Slot – did’nt get the sense..2022/07/15 at 11:53 am #108036Hi Tobi,
Dave is right since (i think 1.4) FX editing is possible via mixpad.Feature suggestion:
the possibility to assign softkeys to the strip area in mixpad.some softkeys are really important, and i want to have it access able all the time.
so the best would be, to use one slot of the channel strips!greetings,
dd2022/07/04 at 7:58 pm #107868Because I could’t find the reason for this behaviour: panning-law!

greetings dd2022/07/04 at 7:55 pm #107867Hi folks,
Yesterday I got the same problem of a wrong level while playing back from the laptop. For those who are interested in the real reason of the behaviour:
the keyword is very simple: panning law!!!
(has nothing to do with headroom, or anything else…)https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pan_law

dd2022/06/13 at 7:08 am #107549Hi Gardacus,
You can use the Assign key (left on the console) or via Routing Tab on the screen, to unassign the Inputs from main LR.

Reference Guide V1.5.0 Page 107:17.2 System Reset
To perform a full system reset, hold the EQ βInβ and βHFβ keys when powering on the SQ. This will clear all mix settings and all saved data, including Shows/Scenes and Libraries, and will revert the SQ to its initial state.
Before you carry out a system reset, back-up any data you wish to keep using a USB device or SQ-MixPad.greetings

The gate for De-Esser would be amazing.
But would be against the A&H philosophy.
poorly πBut let’s hope!
2022/05/31 at 4:41 am #107384Hi Harvey,
-> maybe you patched the input source to a second channel?
-> maybe you’ve patched the inputs to the Ext-In of the Aux busses?
-> maybe you set up groups, and they send some signals to the auxes?
Be aware, even when the channel or group is not part of any fader-layer it will work in the background and still sending/processing signals…
greetings,
dd2022/05/20 at 7:55 am #107233Discovered something similar on the dlive, where in the bottom view the values of the PEQ got shown, while turning the Softrotaries, and then the values got fadeed out.
Something like this as popup on the screen would improve the workflow for me extremely!
Just touch and turn, and the mixer will tell you what is got changed in the processing.Anyone who would like to see a feature like this?
2022/04/24 at 5:20 pm #106941Do you use two DX168 or only one I/O box?
