Tim –
If you haven’t seen these already, the Dante videos were invaluable to me… (bottom of page)

Contact Tech Support:https://www.allen-heath.com/UK/Support/Pages/technicalsupport1.aspx they should be able to help you. The iLive range can be reset and I would think it is possible with GLD as well – best to ask the people who make em!

“Nearly all other vendors like Soundcraft, Yamaha and even Behringer … deployed their apps also on android platform.”
Not so. None of the above would be more accurate.

A while ago I had my ilive r72 repaired due to some sort of screen-battery problem. basically the screen never started properly.
When I got it back the scenes hadnt been removed, the channel names and settings were ok BUT the strip layout were all out of order. so i fixed it but I cant get the strip setup to SAVE!
So every time I start the console now I have to configure the strip layout both in left and right bank. I have to make everything from LR to DCAs to FXs etc. “appear” in the strip section even if I save it.
I have looked into the scene saving settings but havent found a solution yet.
please HELP
thanks.
The only gates I use on vocals are the clever Optogates. See here https://www.optogate.com/index_opto_uk.html
They work great on small stages where there are a lot of open mic’s and high stage volume (rock bands etc) causing excessive bleed.
I have also used on 8 back stage chorus microphones for a theatre show where I set one mic as a master ( with an Optogate) and then side chain gated all other chorus channels to it using the iLive internal gates with a very low threshold. If no one stood to sing in the master microphone then none of the other mic’s would be on! Worked a treat and saved lots of scene programming.

Hey, wouter — are the network ports on the iDR itself also limited to a 10Mb/s signaling rate?
I could plug in my notebook computer and check but my iDR is buried in the nose of my trailer.
Thanks

I’ve got an R72, but never use SIP… If the button is not on the surface, perhaps there is a control available from the touchscreen? I’m just guessing…

What Eotsskleet said about the surface outputs. By the way, nice work on the visuals!

Hi Tim,
That makes good sense but we’re tapped out on our outputs of the AR2412. We’re using 2 for Mains LT & RT out, and we’re using the other 10 for 5 stereo in-ear mixes. I could add an AR84. Below is a picture if our rack for reference.
Thanks,
Joe

Select the channel you wish to use for the “split” (iem) and then select its source, which would be “surface”, then “A”, then the number of the rca (5,6) in question. If you are using the 2 rcas as stereo input, perhaps set up a stereo channel for your purpose. Save the scene!

Your two scenes need to contain just the Patchbay. Use the scene edit function. This is how it is done on the iLive but I’m pretty sure it’s the same on GLD
