We’re really loving the DLive integration with Waves SuperRack (and MultiRack) and the scene recalls are great. Can we get a MIDI note (option) added to the desk so that if we select a channel we can have it automatically also select that rack in Waves? So many things on the desk send MIDI like fader moves and mute, but not select.

+1 having the ability to integrate channel select midi messages with Waves would be a huge benefit to our workflow.

    1) Note on messages are already used by dLive for mutes.

    2) The Mix Rack sends and receives MIDI, not the surface. Although it is clear that a Surface can initiate a MIDI message somehow because a SoftKey can be programmed to do that.

    3) There would have to be a way to turn this select message off, because in a system with more than one Surface (including Director and possibly OneMix, MixPad, and IP controllers) there could easily selection chaos.

@msteel: your libes are all right, but the entire question was using the SELECT button (on several in- or output channels) to send a midi note-on (e.g.) to trigger other stuff!
    that’s it.

+1 – this could certainly be used to create more automation that we currently have access too.
