You can use the USB Scene Transfer to import your patchbay scene into his Show file once this is loaded, as Stix suggests.
Or you can use the USB Scene Transfer to import a bunch of scenes from the guest engineer’s Show into your existing Show file. Before importing, you can filter out (block) scene content, for example the Patchbay and Port A/B settings such as ACE Redundancy.

Either way, bear in mind that some settings are Show (rather than Scene) dependent. These include the Mix Configuration, Stereo channels, Talkback settings, and preferences such as Audio Sync source.

    Hi Millst,

ME-U outputs are always going to be dSNAKE and therefore Layer 2 Ethernet compliant.
All usual recommendations for dSNAKE / ACE apply when using third party devices such as a switch or medium converter.

    Hi all,

iLive V1.92 adds Editor support for Apple Mac OSX Mavericks 10.9.

Current version of GLD Editor and Qu-16 USB streaming are all now tested and supported on OS X Mavericks.

    Hi Ronny,

Latest versions of iLive MixPad, iLive OneMix, Tweak, GLD Remote, GLD OneMix and Qu-Pad are all iOS 7 compatible.

    Hope this helps.

It would be nice if the most recent topics would refresh on the top of the page like the old site.

They do, both in the Forum categories and in the global Recent Activity page. Have you tried reloading the page?

    Hi Zypce,

When you safe a master channel, this protects its processing but also the routing and sends from the channels, as detailed in the User Guide.

We will review this and add extra Safe options in the next firmware version.

A SoundGrid server would give you lower latency, more reliability (it’s a dedicated Linux machine), and typically more processing power (higher number of plugins).

If you already own some native Waves licenses, try going native first, you can always switch to SoundGrid later if need be.

LaCie Little Big Disk is among my favourites. The latest version is Thunderbolt only but with a bit of luck you can still find the (discontinued) eSATA / USB2.0 / FW 400/800 7200RPM version at half-price.

    3hr 48ch at 48kHz would be around 70GB.
    Try this calculator.

Has anyone tried using Dante via an Apple Thunderbolt to Gigabit adaptor? If so, how well does it work? Can I expect to be able to record 32 channels?

I’m told by Audinate that Apple’s Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet adapter works fine with the Dante Virtual Soundcard.

You don’t need two licenses if you transfer the session or files from one DAW to the other.

    Hi Geert,

Assuming your GLD is set to the default static IP address 192.168.1.50, does it help if you click ‘Other’ when launching the app, and type in the GLD IP address manually?

Yes, ME‐1 can be used in AVIOM mode (16 channels) in any existing AVIOM A‐Net Pro16 system. It can be used as a drop in replacement for an AVIOM A‐16ii in most cases, but it cannot be powered by an AVIOM hub.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Tim,

I’m sorry you don’t like the new Forums format. We felt it was time to consolidate a number of resources into a single website, give users more space, and sort the Forums into categories so if you are looking for ME-1 tips you are not presented a list of iLive firmware issues and 30-pages threads of suggestions.

However I appreciate people still like to skim through recent threads and pick up what they like. There is a widget for this in the footer of the website displaying new forum topics. And I’ve now set up a page with a timeline of recent posts in ANY topic / forum, regardless of category. Pretty much like the old Forums. I hope you will find this useful.

    Hi John,

please contact our Tech Support team by opening a ticket here and including all previous correspondence with your dealer or distributor.

Also it is good practice not to post your email address on the forum. Users can still reach you by sending you private messages.
