It is announced to be on OS X soon. My only problem ist that some functions of the mixpad editor are still missing. I can’t find the library button or the new ganging function. I also did not find the soft rotary assignments.

My SQ 6 is also sent to be repaired at Audio Technica DE. It´s a shame i had to send it in after less than one year of use. But two of the encoders were almost not usable…

I hope i get it back soon. It is out more than 3 weeks now.

+1 for more colours. Right now there are not enough to visualise all different types of channels (different colours for ach kind of input signal such as drums/perc, vocals, guitars, bass and so on plus the other channels like fx send, return, aux, group, matrix, midi and so on)

Two DX 24/12 would maybe max out the inputs of an sq console but it would still be lacking of outputs.

Imagine you send 12 stereo iems and need more outputs for main lr and / or matrix mixes near the stage.

I would like to see some expandable boxes with a customizable in and output factor plus the ability of aes outs

For me it is a tool that i use quite often in cooperate environments for heads and lavs. It would be great to have it right in the desk. Even as a deep plugin it would be nice.

It is a hardware issue. You have to send your desk back in for repair. I have the same issue with 2 encoders

i have the same problem. I haven’t used the desk for about a month. Everything was fine until i updated the desk to the new firmware today. Now my screen rotary and the eq gain rotary have exactly the issue stated here! I have to dial in the value real slow to have an accurate behavior!

I recorded hours over hours 48khz multi track files with sq with no single issue. I use the usb b connection to a MacBook Pro using Logic Pro X. Set the project settings to 48khz.

Check out the Axxent Intercom stuff. They have expandable solutions for smaller and larger shows. They also offer the possibility to call someone visually or with a signal tone. For Intercom systems i would not rely on apps or wifi connected devices. These are my 2 cents

Hi, as i am on a conference job right now, far away from my sq. What about the mono matrix option? Did they implement a solution for that?

Do we have page bookmark function for the soft keys or a solution to access the processing screens faster?

Last time at a festival I had a very nervous guest engineer on my sq-6. He always double clicked on the select buttons of a channel and was really irritated when he lands on the home screen.

In my opinion it would be smarter to acces the home screen via the menue or a soft key instead of the select buttons.
