    I don’t think I misunderstood something.

There are desks available where you can send a channel to a matrix. On a modern digital desk I don’t think a matrix has to be limited for sub mixes.

In addition to a matrix fed subwoofer it would give us the opportunity to send a single or more tracks to a different zone f.e. during cooperate shows.

It also eats one of my 12 auxes.

Why should it be the wrong desk for me when mostly everything else about it perfectly fits my needs.

This is a suggestion forum where users can suggest future features, isn’t it?

Sorry Jedifyll but as an audio engineer my ears are my most valueable tool, so i train them and they will find the critical frequencies that i have to eq. I would like the feature as well, as it is truly very handy, but in my opinion there are some more helpful features that i am waiting on… especially the waves card to implement my server and all the plugs i got !

    hey jafejo,

please consider that you have a maximum of 48 audio input processing channels. On top of that there are 8 fx returns, 3 matrixes, 12 aux or groups and 8 dca faders. In total: 79

So don’t worry that you have not enough faders…

Just make sure your project settings are set to f.e 48khz. Then Logic Pro will record 48khz files giving you less issues with disk speed or cpu.

Done this a couple of times with about 16 Tracks flawlessly. Haven’t tried to record @ 96k. But I am sure this will bring my MacBook to his knees 😂

From what i’ve heard you can use 3 DX168 with the dx hub. But i guess that will need a new firmware.
The other option would be an analogue snake to get the local i/o s to the stage…

Use a DI Box in between the keyboard and the mixer. From the DI Box you have a balanced signal to the desk.
