I set it up on mine yesterday. go to the options menu in the scenes page. there are push buttons for always show last recalled and next.

just an update, i believe ours is set to not auto go when next is selected. we usually hit next and then a separate button for recall if that helps.

the pop out scene control is nice, but there is screen real estate up top for scene control status for this to always be on and displayed up top as important as scene control is, without having to stay in the full page scene control.

Just saw this post and decided to try it out. Didn’t mess with it long but it sounded like it was working like the maximizer. Whci is cool because I need a maximizer on my final bus for mixing a live stream on our Avantis. Will be playing with it some more.

Update – I think this has settled down. No real changes, just a reboot of the DM0. There were a few times when I force quit director before the reboot and even just hit the X to close the program, so maybe the DM0 was hanging on to that connection? Don’t know for sure, but it is connecting decent for now.

The audio admin subnet is in the 172.16.2.xxx range.
DMO = 172.16.2.80
Laptop (with Sophos / Umbrella) = 172.16.2.205
Dell PC no antivirus / firewall = 172.16.2.247
A few other PC’s at .55 and .54

Our DHCP server only handles out it’s range at .200 and up. Below .200 is all fixed IP’s for our gear. The interesting thing is that every computer sees the DMO. It’s making that connection is when it will hang or fail to connect. Ill be back in Tuesday to mess with it some more. I don’t think it is our sophos antivirus software affecting it. I have been able to connect on occasion with a PC with sophos on it.

I need to dig thru things. I tried direct from my laptop into the DM0 and it works “Most” of the time. some times it would not connect though even direct. Sometimes when I connect my Ipad which usually connects all the time, an instance of Director on a Dell PC that was connected gets kicked off and i need to reconnect that machine. Just wondering if there are ports getting blocked on occasion. It is really hard to figure out where the issue is as a PC will connect some of the time. and it really is 2 test machines on a network switch (Cisco SG300) with a few other devices. My ipad goes thru house wifi and a bunch of other switches and it works 95% of the time.

we have our own audio admin vlan and we have about 4 switches connected together in our subnet with 1 switch connected to corporate. Everything is kind of in it’s own Island so to speak with a bridge out to the main network. 4 different windows PC’s with director and they each have issues connecting. Something with 1.95? Ill try to update to 1.96 if I can connect. I can also try resetting the network settings on the DM0 and try setting that up again. All laptops can see the DM0 all the time but making the connection is very touchy and hit / miss.

Qlab can fire midi cues and be locked to a clock. Mac only though and you need at least the pro audio license to unlock the midi / clock triggers.

Hello all,

I am wondering if anyone has updated their iPad to iOS 11, and if so how has the GLD Remote app been working for you?

I depend on live mixing from the iPad, just want to be sure I won’t cause any issues for myself by upgrading to iOS 11.

Yes, the follow fader/mute not being affected by DCA is PITA. This is on all series- iLive, GLD, Qu and dLive. Hope they fix it soon. I really can’t understand why it is this way. If DCA mute cuts signal to all routes and direct out is set to follow mute, then why it should stay as only unmuted route?

Actually for our church use it is brilliant the way it works and I hope it does not get changed, or have it be an option to follow or not follow dca mute. If it followed the dca mute, there would be no way for me to mute a keyboard feed for instance to all stage wedges and house but still keep it going in the ears. I want it to follow channel mute (mute unneeded vocal mics for example) but not follow dca mute so stage can still hear what they need to hear. if you have a combo of wedges and ears, how would you mute channels to wedges, but still keep it going to the ME1?
there should be 3 settings – 1 follow channel mute only, 1 follow dca mute, 1 follow both.

Bump. Ability to have a switch to lock / unlock all key config’s thru any of the presets being recalled and only have the volume / pan be affected would be greatly appreciated.
