Qlab can fire midi cues and be locked to a clock. Mac only though and you need at least the pro audio license to unlock the midi / clock triggers.

Figures. It would be nice to at least have it sort alphanumerically so we can set our own order if needed.

    Hello all,

I am wondering if anyone has updated their iPad to iOS 11, and if so how has the GLD Remote app been working for you?

I depend on live mixing from the iPad, just want to be sure I won’t cause any issues for myself by upgrading to iOS 11.

    Thanks!
    -Jon

I have an iPad pro that is on ios 11. Used the app this past Sunday without any issues.

    Thanks
    Gary

Yes, the follow fader/mute not being affected by DCA is PITA. This is on all series- iLive, GLD, Qu and dLive. Hope they fix it soon. I really can’t understand why it is this way. If DCA mute cuts signal to all routes and direct out is set to follow mute, then why it should stay as only unmuted route?

Actually for our church use it is brilliant the way it works and I hope it does not get changed, or have it be an option to follow or not follow dca mute. If it followed the dca mute, there would be no way for me to mute a keyboard feed for instance to all stage wedges and house but still keep it going in the ears. I want it to follow channel mute (mute unneeded vocal mics for example) but not follow dca mute so stage can still hear what they need to hear. if you have a combo of wedges and ears, how would you mute channels to wedges, but still keep it going to the ME1?
there should be 3 settings – 1 follow channel mute only, 1 follow dca mute, 1 follow both.

Bump. Ability to have a switch to lock / unlock all key config’s thru any of the presets being recalled and only have the volume / pan be affected would be greatly appreciated.

Bump. Since they are still actively pushing the ME-1. I had to mess with a drummers ME-1 last night and I thought I would bring this up again.

Any AR units or is it the desk only?

I have seen this before. I use presets and try to get the band members to always recall their preset which loads everything back up.

It would be nice to have some sort of road map or news on development of this. The me1 is still being pushed but no software for offline editing? I am all for loading it onto a key and recalling either a config or preset that was built offline.

Bump. Are there any planned updates for the GLD series? If so, would love to have some of our feature requests visited. Having the channel name next to the Input number in the scene safe window would make it alot easier to know what channel you are working on in the scene safe windows.

    Thanks.

I understand the concept with them but I don’t see any other iPad app with an “on” and a mute on the fader when mixing. Got to be a different way to assign to L/R and have more fader throw. I can’t stand this on the gld80 app either. As there is little resolution on the fader already and how many people actually use the “on” button versus the mute. On only dumps the channel to L/R and does not mute that channel to any aux sends so it is not useful for mixing, only assigning to L/R. Maybe another tab on the top left for bus / aux assigns?
How about have it show up only when selecting a mix?

Gld80 can do mp3 playback so I don’t know if that is a licensing thing or not on the QU, or do you have to license per device?

Will this only be an option? Currently I like the way it is, to be able to mute a channel when not in use and have it muted in the ME-1, but if I just mute the DCA, I want it ON in the ME-1 so the musician can still hear things in their ears and practice if need be. (of course, everyone else hears them in their ears 🙂
