Send it in assistente because in any case my display freeze and Tha mixer aren’t unusable.

I had the same problem and other in display 10 days ago.
Assistance change the cable of touch screen display.
I wait for warranty return and I hope now it’s all OK.

For me GLD is a great desk… i have gld112, now in assistence for display problem and i miss it very much.
I have a sq6 but no editor offline no minisplay large…and no deesser and compressor the i pay ( in gld 112 i have).
But Of course, the technology of the sq is certainly more advanced.

I found this questions and response in the dante faq

Does the number of devices or channels in use affect latency?

No and no. Adding new devices to a network does not affect the latency of devices already in the network. The latency of hardware devices does not depend on the number of audio channels routed, and routing additional audio channels does not change the latency of audio already passing through the network.

Sq6 has been presented a year ago !!! However, mine was a provocation but I think absurd some market choices.

Hi, I have not yet understood the marketing of Allen heath for Sq mixer.
abandon gld, introduce sq that has less features of the Qu but with a higher cost. Finally they announce to payment some plugins present base on gld !!! I sold my qu to buy a new SQ, and unfortunately currently my GLD is in faulty display assistance.(another mixer that incredibly has a lot of flaws but I love and it is currently much better than SQ). I would like to sell everything and move to Midas.

in fact I have a gld with broken dislay … and the sq6 is far away from the gld carettistics. it would not be bad to have at least the editor for the work I have to do with the new but limited sq6 !!
waiting for the warranty service to repair it

NO,
on my Sq6, i can’t select fx return or send neither from touch screen, only mode to modify is fx button. For me is incredible.

No, there’s a Dante card for SQ!!!
firmware 1.2.2 support this ( i think 1.2.0 maybe)

You need Access point or extender. If you have router wifi why you don’t use a wifi extender in your local Lan? you put one or n.x extender inside the room when do you need wifi connection.

you must load the show in the editor, connect the mixer and syncronize form Mac to gld, and save in to gld.
