The problem starts when your audience start EQ’ing with their phones.
    Sounds like an interesting app.

    Hi guys,
Sorry you are having this problem.
This is a known bug and we have fixed it in v1.5.
We dont however have a release date for v1.5 yet.

We will post a v1.5 release date on the forum once we are further through testing.

or dca the masters and hide them in a layer !
from a sound persective its the same as your attenuator at mic pre.
    im probably missing something.

    Hi Graham,
yes the possibilities of PL controlling sub mixes to monitor mixes are interesting. A&H have been thinking about such things in future software.
Good to hear someone exploiting all this stuff. Keep posting its great to hear.

The delay change is muted to prevent the signal click you get when you jump in time. We did this for scene changes, where you want silent delay changes say on a scene change – maybe you all dont want that, the mute is discontinuous for programme.

Some people have requested the ability to not have the mute so they can hear the phase change when doing delay alignment, for output delays. Is this the application you all want ?
    User option ?
Does other equipment produce small clicks on delay change, is this acceptable?

This time I shall write in English !

Each software release contains the factory presets for all of the various emulated FX – the complete set. If you have not got the latest FX its because you havent got the latest software release for your iLive (currently v1.32 latest fx included Hypabass and Symphonic Chorus). In v1.4 there will be another FX emulation released.
You cant just update your fx libraries with new fx emulations by recalling presets from the usb key. The iLive software has all fx emulations built in. Therefore we can update your software and fx emulations and keep you up to date in one go.

    Saving fx user presets ….
To save your user preset variations of the factory presets, hit ‘store new’ bottom left of fx page. This fx user preset is now stored onto the surface touch screen computer, a symbol of a persons head is next the preset in the library – defining ‘user preset’. These user presets can be updated, select the user preset name and hit ‘overwrite’. The current fx and its settings will be stored under that existing name. Factory presets have the red ‘&’ symbol next to them. Factory presets are not editable.

    Using usb presets ….
When you ‘store new’ a preset it automatically makes it a user preset stored on the surface. Its safe, not ported to someones usb key without you knowing. To port this onto usb go into the library manager under utilities and transfer the user preset onto usb.
You can recall a usb fx preset direct in the fx library list. The preset has a usb symbol by it. You can overwrite this preset too direct to usb without going into the library manager.

To stored this onto your usb key, goto utility/configuration/library manager. There is a menu allowing you to transfer to and from the usb key from and to the fx library in the surface.

phantom power on top panel is 1 second hold down required to prevent accidentals. The button in the pre amp page is obviously quick touch.

the phantom power switch on the preamp section has to be held down for a few moments to be active – to stop people accidently pressing it during a gig !!
so hold it down for a few moments.

You can reset the whole graphic flat on faders by holding down reset and pressing the sel button on the touch screen. Individual bands is being looked at – as you said. As is channel ganging.
I have just finished the prototype gated verbs for iLive should be in v1.4 touch wood. i think they sound great.
Online accesible libraries, we wanted some user’s library settings first, maybe we need some web space for them. Could be interesting..
