A&H delays can’t do full regeneration on their own. The only way to get 100% or more as an effect is to send the delay to itself.

    Of course that was it.

Here’s the obligatory “Mixing Station shows you that” as a workaround suggestion.

Just stopping in here to say that entire bunch of y’all are pretty tiresome. Except, of course, @keithjah.

I understand. But manufacturer’s initial choice of frequencies and bandwidths never make sense to me. I generally want something along the lines of 120, 1k, 3k, and 6k, all fairly narrow. I have that as a saved preset.

Not likely. Device count limitations on SQ and Qu are from overloading the network stack.

Recalling a preset you saved is more likely to get what you want. I’ve never seen a manufacturer’s PEQ default that worked for me.

A&H rec/playback has a very limited feature set. Using a laptop DAW is way more flexible.

Record some tracks to the SD card. That will show you how to format them. If CQ is like the other A&H mixers, there is a very limited spec as to what will play.

That’s just for playback, though. You’ll need to go USB to a DAW to do multitrack overdub recording, which is what you’re asking about. Reaper is cheap and excellent.

How are you getting collisions without the networks seeing each other? Are you connecting a computer to both your home network and the mixer wifi?

If you’re using the access point, why is it connected to your local network?

clear indication of sub std I/Os for what ever reason.

So is it your contention that they intentionally crippled this product, which you haven’t heard, with mediocre A/Ds and substandard software? All that stuff is simply math now.It would cost them more *not* to use their existing processing algorithms.

I’d use a Dante card if I were you and use a Dante network to route all these. Would be a good solution for your situation.

That wouldn’t address the need for different processing, but any 4×8 general signal processor would.

opposite end of the sonic quality scale that I have addressed with my mini Avantis request!

I think they were aiming for the X-Air and missed on features, but as for quality, it’s 96K FPGA inside.
