Perhaps the SQ is assigned to SQDrive instead of the USB outs.
Qu can do it. @keithjah has indicated that they might be considering it for SQ. For now, Dante or a Waves card are needed for redundant recording.
Did you patch the Dante feed to your inputs, or just set it as a receiver in Dante Controller?
You could bring it in the ST 1/4″ inputs. I’m not sure you’d gain anything, though.
SQ can do either USB out *or* SQ Drive. Qu can do both at the same time.
That would be cool. I bought the Dante card for my SQ6 so I can record all the channels.
Enabling simultaneous SQ Drive and USB out, like Qu has, would help. Love to have redundant recording. But I think they really need to rewrite the entire USB stack.
Ah, I see. Yamaha breaks the 32 channel barrier by using their own drivers? Yeah, rather be driver free.
The problem is with Appleās new OSX.
or the problem is A&H’s code that freaks out when it sees something it doesn’t recognize.
@keithjah, I’ve already bought the Dante card for this, but, since you obv have the bandwidth, is there a reason not to push 64 channels at 48k?
Defining “anomaly” would seem an insurmountable problem.
A&H delays can’t do full regeneration on their own. The only way to get 100% or more as an effect is to send the delay to itself.
Of course that was it.
Here’s the obligatory “Mixing Station shows you that” as a workaround suggestion.
Just stopping in here to say that entire bunch of y’all are pretty tiresome. Except, of course, @keithjah.
