2009/08/14 at 7:16 pm #24528touchscreen:
after some jobs in this summer with the sun directly in the display, i think a brighter touchscreen is desirable.i know this is a problem of all digital desks, but A&H can be the first company who eliminate this problem with “Sun readable TFT Monitors”?

2009/08/14 at 6:43 pm #24527yes, this card is available.

I think the better Logic is to make this over the button “ROTARY SHIFT”If you use the SUB mode you already need the rotary shift to send signal to the sub out.
…
no, I don´t use the SUB mode.
in “LR SUB” mode I can´t send a single signal in the SUB, when I route this signal over a subgroup, not directly in the mix.
therefore I use the normal “LR” mode and use an normal Aux to send the signal to the subwoofer.
when i don´t use the SUB mode ,I got two more Aux-sends…
and now the better way for me is to use the ROTARY SHIFT button [8D][]2009/07/01 at 10:37 pm #24394Gain on Rotarys over “ALT VIEW”?
I think the better Logic is to make this over the button “ROTARY SHIFT”now I use iLive over 30 jobs and I see a simple Problem:
the touch-buttons in the touchscreen are a little bit to small for big fingers
I look at the designs, there is enough place to make it a size larger. only make it a little bit higher, that´s enough.
this can help to make the control faster and safer!touchscreen again:
in the routing screen we can select the Aux-send signal source (…POST HPF, POST EQ, POST DELAY …).
this drop down menu is very small and not easy to handle with your finger!
can you bring this as a quick-menue – like the channel-naming?sorry for my bad english, I hope you understand.
2009/06/02 at 1:20 am #24344I know this effect.
i´m working with XP pro…2009/05/19 at 9:24 pm #24327and for germany:
– an Markus Sinsel, der immer fleissig am Telefon hängt und selbst von den unmoeglichsten Fragestellungen nicht aus der Ruhe zu bringen ist!
Danke![]
2009/04/16 at 10:25 pm #24282I use the stereo-matrix to send the mastersignal to the PA. this matrix contains the EQ setting for the PA.
the master has flat EQ and is now ready to record– sorry for my broken english –
2009/04/16 at 10:03 pm #24281hi.
I use a different user to prevent this mistake in live-situations!
this user has limited functions.the stereos or the bus-setup can only changed by the administrator-user, and i use this profile only during the soundcheck
-sorry for my broken english-
2009/04/09 at 10:44 pm #24265can I have a “dynamicEQ”, maybe as a FX??[8D]
2009/03/06 at 6:24 pm #24237I renew my suggestions, but after the 1.42 now the list is a little bit smaller:
– dynamics sidechain: self key´d pre/post EQ, and from other channels/mixes
– multi-channel gain reductions overview, as meters in one screen (I called this the “dynamics overview”)
– output-limiter POST-fader
– RTA level adjust
– easier “0”-position for single EQ gains (PEQ)
– gate with expander-function
– faster scene memorynew effects:
– frequency shifter
– distortion2009/03/03 at 11:45 pm #24220Compressor Sidechain function:
“Self Key´d” is not enough, give us more flexibility please:
Sidechain
– Self, pre or post EQ
– from any another Channel or Mix(!)
(I need “ducking” for a show[8D])2009/02/07 at 7:25 pm #24172two little UPS, this is a good idea!
must be the type “Online-UPS”?
or is a “Line-interactive-UPS” OK?2009/01/06 at 12:26 am #24158quote:

Ian B.this flash frequency ist too slow!
i don´t use the DCA-Mute.2008/12/15 at 12:05 am #24125my suggestions:
– all channel gain reductions as meters in one screen (only overview)
– scene and effect -store synchron in editor-software AND desk!
– channel link functions
– much faster “DCA Mute” flash in channel displays – now it is very slow!
– gate with expander-function
– clean hum and noise in headphone (iLive80)
– faster scene memory
– editor-software(PEQ-window): switch the position from frequency and bandwidth – like the iLive surface
– fast switches for different rotary-functions
– POST-fader position for output-limiter
– RTA level adjust
– AUX-send pickup-position: bigger buttons on the touchscreen – or my fingers are to fat? []
– “multicore” in one cable
– easier “0”-position for single EQ gains (PEQ and GEQ)
effects:
– gated reverbs
– frequency shifter
– distortions(sorry for my bad english)
