Most digital console cannot read mp3.
My X32 cannot read mp3 either.
    That doesn’t make it unusable.
The CQ20T is more designed for stage and group than playing client music on USB stick.
But anyway, for point 1,2 and 3, hook up a laptop in bluetooth or USB or even via phone jack to a pair of CQ input (using DI boxes if range over 10ft is needed).
For point 4 you can program soft key on the CQ app.

Go on the CQ driver’s window and you’ll find here that you can change sample rate on the fly.
By the way I am currently trying another solution by disabling the motherboard sound card’s drivers.
Seems to be running OK so far.

Have that issue since the beginning.
It is a windows issue when using VDM drivers, it is very random, and non reproductible.
Might occur less with ASIO driver but not sure.
No need to shut down CQ when it is happening, my solution is to change sample rate on the fly form drivers windows on the PC and it is back to normal again for a while.
A&H support is aware and still investigating.
I really encourage you to contact them also, that will for sure help them.

    +1.
In the time being you can achieve proper ducking with the use of external VST pluging.

Not for me, scrolling is working fine. Win11 also.

As I said, mono personal IEM system (generally the small cabled ones) can deal with STEREO headphone out of a MONO input.
They have only one XLR input and a single jack stereo headphone out.
But you wont’ get STEREO in the headphone, only 2 times the same mono signal.
Those little pieces can also deal with real stereo, but only if the input is stereo.
For the CQ, the only native stereo OUT are the headphones OUT.
If you want to ear STEREO form the AUX, you need to use 2 AUX OUT from the console, by linking them in the CONFIG/INPUT tab.

Make it simple, for most console, all XLR and combo jack IN/OUt = symmetric signal, witch mean that Tip and Ring share the same signal but one is phase inverted (long distance interferences protection),
    that mean no stereo.
For a stereo signal (USB, BT or ST input), if you send it to one AUX, L and R are mixed and this mix is transported the same way:
    -one mix in the Tip
-and the same mix but inverted in the Ring.

A mono signal is send via TRS, the 3 wires are used:
    -1 for the GND,
-1 for a signal (a mix of the L and R done inside the console)
-1 for an invert of this signal.
In normal situation dephasing of the inverted signal is done at the end device (end amplifier).
But not for a stereo stereo headphone and it is obvious that you will have phase cancellation.
To get a proper mono AUX into stereo headphone you need to use mono personal monitor device that allow to plug stereo headphone.
To get one proper stereo OUT from AUX, uses 2 auxes.

    This is not a bug.
Indeed MS can set the color of the output and they are displayed correctly into the CQ
and indeed there is no such possibility via the console itself or via CQAPP for the moment.
I am pretty sure that a future update will allow it soon or later.

Scenes are used to quickly make adjustments for singer/musicians needs between each songs, like EQ, FX and sends.
As far as I understand, doing like you mention will also overwrite those settings to scene 1 and that is not what APUSAH wants.

    OK I better now understand.
    Tks.

Sorry I don’t understand the point here.
For me the gain is fixed to the value as saved for each scene.

I suppose that using an empty FX rack would free processing power.
It is possible to use external VST plugin by routing the signal into Stereo input for exemple.
In this exemple I use a VST time based FX plugin (delay), routed to input 11/12 of my CQ12T set to digital input.
I then route a mic (or more) to this VST plugin.
The ST1 fader in the CQ become your FX fader.

I bought a CQ12T because what it advertised met my need.
It work as expected and even beyond my expectation. I love it.
    I don’t need more.
Every improvement will be a cherry on the cake.

Open question to Keith, does the FPGA chip have any kind of heatsink ?
