    Hi Tony

If you view the Help manual included on the GLD which can be found at the bottom right hand corner of the home screen, shown as a Question Mark (?).

Press the question mark then go to ‘Help Menu’ – ‘Applications’ – ‘linking GLD systems’

This should explain how to link 2 systems together.

    Hope that helps

    Hi Attreui

I think the problem may be that you have not used the correct capitalization in the address bar. You need to use a capital ‘S’ in Setup as shown below.

    192.168.1.20/Setup.html

    Hope that helps

    Hi Bryan

    This is not a bug.

The trashcan is designed to be used when you select a channel strip from the strip selection box at the top of the screen. If you pick up a channel strip from the selection box and you realise you do not wish to assign it to the strip layout on the surface then you can drag it to the Trash, otherwise it will automatically be assigned to the first free strip.

To delete a strip from the surface layout you just need to drag it anywhere out of the surface layout box.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Hi Steve

No I’m afraid you cannot send an output to an input socket on the GLD.

In the I/O page the input socket window allows you to choose where the physical socket is routed to within the desk.

For example if you selected input socket 1 on the AR2412 by default it will normally be routed to input DSP channel 1, though you can also send it to mono matrix External input. this means that input socket 1 on the AR2412 will be routed to the external input of mono matrix 1 you will be able to check this by selecting mono matrix 1 and viewing the external input page.

So you are choosing where the physical socket is being routed to in the DSP.

    Hope that helps

    Hi Gilles

The current MIDI specification for GLD can be found on the GLD documents page: GLD MIDI Protocol V1.0

    https://www.allen-heath.com/uk/Products/pages/ProductDetails.aspx?catId=GLDSeries&ProductId=GLD80&SubCatId=

Currently control of Parametric EQ is not implemented in the MIDI spec for v1.00, we plan to expand the MIDI specification in future versions of firmware.

    Hi Perdut

Are you running the latest firmware v1.02?

If you have a reproduce procedure for the Pan jumping to the right side please contact technical support with a copy of the event logs and how to reproduce this problem.

    Hi Frewen

In LCR Mode Stereo channels are sent directly to LR and not to C.

I recommend you use to mono channels, gang the 2 mono channels together except for Pan and then you will be able to use the pan on each channel to blend the mix between LCR.

    Hope that helps

    Hi Kevin

I am afraid there is currently no plan to release a digital output version of the AR84 or AR2412. This is planned for iLive T-series MixRacks.
If there is enough interest then this may be considered in the future of GLD.

    Hi Thomas

You can save an aux mix via a scene. You can then set the recall filter to only recall e.g. Aux 1 parameters including routing. The only limitation with this is that musician would need to use the same aux each time as you can’t recall Aux 1 on say aux 2.

    Hi Jordan

    quote:

    1. We are using Aux’s for monitor mix, can’t figure out how to apply FX to Main L/R for certain channels and remove the FX from the Aux’s for those channels. At present when we apply the FX it affects all the Aux’s and the Main L/R. How do we fix this?

To assign/de-assign FX from the main mix, press the MIX button on the mains strip. then hold down the MIX assign button and press the FX return channels you wish to assign/de-assign from the main mix.

To assign/de-assign FX from an Aux channel, press the MIX button on the Aux you wish to change the routing to. then hold down the MIX assign button press the FX return channels you wish to assign/de-assign from the main mix

    quote:

    2. How do you adjust recording level to record to usb feature, and how do you feed the recorded audio to the Main L/R on USB playback feature.

To set the record level you can use a Matrix output to send the main mix to the USB record. The fader level for the matrix then becomes the send level to the USB record.
to send the USB playback to mains, SEL a spare stereo input/group/Aux channel and select the channels source to be from USB.

    Hi Rorikx

Templates are Shows. All scene information is stored within a show file. If you change show then all the current scenes will be overidden by the scenes stored in the new show you recall.

You should always save your current show before recalling another so you do not loose any settings you may have changed since last saving.

I hope that helps / makes sense

    Hi John

You can fit an MMO module to the GLD surface which will enable you to have up to 24 ADAT outputs, 2×8 channel iDR-Dout (AES, SPDIF, Toslink digital audio) output expanders for remote audio feeds.

please see the link below for more info.

It means that that apple review the code and content of the app before they release it onto the App store.

    Hi Art

No I’m afraid that it is not possible to set the input channel meters on the surface to post fader.

It is possible to view and choose some metering points in the metering page for input and mix channels by using the pull-up Context menu on the south tool bar.

    Hi Koopdaddy

You are correct, I’m afraid you cannot externally import just scenes into the system from .

You could save another show then label this ‘bank 2’ for example then you have another set of 500 scenes to recall.
