Iv’e got Hypabass loaded in the Add Ons, but am not able to instantiate it on any channel.
Where does it go ?
2019/08/19 at 4:31 pm #85937Good to know.
Thanks for the info, Nicole !
2019/08/09 at 12:35 am #85761Has any further consideration been given to the ability to choose whether DCA mutes follow pre/post fader settings ?
Again, it would be most convenient to be able to quickly mute the DCAs for front-of-house whilst keeping the Mix outs active for monitors.
Thanks
2019/06/01 at 8:23 pm #84232Another approach would be to have the Mix buttons, and also the FX buttons, blink when selected.
On several occasions I mistakenly thought I was mixing FOH when I had actually selected a Mix. Arrrrr ….
Our X32 neighbors have a blinking Sends-On-Fader button to remind them.
2019/03/02 at 1:52 am #82319Would you be able to bring a laptop and record from the USB-B connector on the rear? You would then have 32 tracks available.
2018/11/15 at 1:17 am #80096I have the same Seagate 1TB Backup Plus Slim and it seems to function properly. I got it at Walmart.
2018/11/13 at 3:27 pm #80040I gave the SQ drive another chance this weekend and recorded three sets with no problem. It was a non-critical gig and only required 16 channels, otherwise I would have used a laptop via the USB-B connector on the rear.
The drive I used was a Seagate 1TB Backup Plus Slim model.
It’s certainly convenient to just carry a small USB drive, but the limitation of recording only 16 tracks rules out many shows.
2018/10/12 at 11:55 pm #79214Asus RT-AC66R … excellent coverage.
Except … drat … my iPad is now not compatible with firmware v1.3 !
2018/10/11 at 4:46 pm #79141Great … now my iPad isn’t compatible with SQ-MixPad v1.3.0 !
Arrrrrr …
2018/10/11 at 2:59 pm #79133Here’s a sample of the unprocessed audio. The first set recorded just fine. The second and third sets were distorted and garbled.
No changes were made … I simply paused the recording during the break between sets.

I’m also using a MacBook. Adjusting the buffer size does not make any difference with either software.
I’ll update to firmware version 1.3.0 later today and see if there is any improvement.
2018/10/07 at 3:28 pm #78983Thank you all for your constructive feedback.
Having just installed Reaper, I’ll work with it this week with the goal to use it to record a show this coming weekend.
Greg … my “poking around” led me to the Project Settings where it was advised to check the Project sample rate box even though it should be automatically set via Apple’s core audio as you mentioned. I’ll also check the USB cable.
Monki … thanks for the tip on the RecAll software. Reminds me of the Capture program that Presonus offered. Quick, simple, effective. That may be just the trick since I really don’t need a DAW on the laptop.
I have a nice external drive that I have successfully used on the SQ-Drive out, but I need to record more than 16 tracks.
Lots of variables to consider.
2018/08/23 at 12:37 am #73510Hi Gary:
I have both the AB168 and the AR2412 and have used both successfully with various lengths of shielded and unshielded Cat5/6 cable.
Since your post, I tried various power-up sequences and it did not matter … the SQ readily recognized the remote boxes.
2018/08/09 at 3:45 pm #73247Thanks, Art. My rep sent me a note this morning stating that he’s checking availability.
2018/06/07 at 1:20 am #71560Yippee … it’s Christmas !! ☺
