I would love to see a bit more advanced options in the fx slots (even if they would take up 2 slots);
-optical, FET, VCA & bus compressor
-plate and hall reverbs, similar to the EMT plates and 480 Halls in the SQ platform, at least with pre-delay and diffusion available.
– De-esser
– dynamic eq (even single band would be nice)This would improve the cq platform a lot, IMO

It would be nice to have selectable envelope source (input channels) for Dynamic eq
(in dynamic eq the level of selected band is controlled by the volume/envelope of the signal. You can have a full bass sound, as volume goes up the low freq are dynamically lowered. If you select say a drums kick as source signal, you can control the lower freq of bass to make “space” for the drums, without lowering the entire bass signal. With vocal you can control proximity effect, or any useful way you can think of base on eq band gain).

FX EXTERNAL PLUGINS MANAGEMENT ?
A&H could take the opportunity to studies any potential possibly very important alternative option to « load some VST third parties plugins » directly into the libraries mixer ?
Why ?
As live sound engineer I would dream to suppress external latencies due to LIVE PROFESSOR on additional hardware like MacBook by example ?
I’m not technically convinced by Waves SuperRack LiveBox (far much too expensive for what it is)
It should internally exist « something somewhere in between » … some kind of low-cost internal « FX plugins management » …
To remember where we stand live today between market leading well known proprietary solutions and that massive external option:
Waves SuperRack LiveBox brings the power of VST3 plugins by all manufacturers, Waves and others, to any live production or broadcast.
SuperRack LiveBox gives live sound engineers and creative artists access to all their favorite audio plugins, all running natively on a turn-key 2U rack-mountable device that’s easy to connect to your console in any live setting.
Run VST3 plugins by Waves and other brands in your shows
One box connected to your console: Easy turn-key solution
Units include either Dante or MADI I/O: 128 channels, 24 bit
Native processing, no additional hardware required
Includes the industry-standard SuperRack Performer plugin host
Includes the Waves Live bundle: 50+ plugins for live mixing
Dual (redundant) power supply
Unrivaled low latency -
