While a flash drive will work, it may struggle keeping up when recording multi track.

I’ve had good luck using a Seagate 1 TB USB drive for the SQ-Drive. Just remember to press ‘stop’ at the end of the evening !

I have also used a MacBook Pro for multi track from the USB-B output with no problems.

“The little blue LED simply is not enough for me. I would really like a more expressive visualization, when I´m not on the main mix.”

How about having the FX and Mix LEDs blink when in either of those modes ?

X32 users will recall how nice it was when the “Sends On Fader” button was made to blink when that mode was selected.

I’ve also been caught trying to mix LR when either a Mix or FX mode was selected.

Maybe having the Mix and FX buttons blink would call attention to the mode that’s selected.

I recall when the X32 “Sends On Fader” was updated to blink when selected. End of confusion.

    Hi Mike:

The Input Channel Library stores all of the channel parameters (except the scribble strip name) for a particular channel under whatever name you may choose. i.e. Kick, Snare, etc. Select a channel, press Processing, press Library.

There are Factory channel settings to get you started and you can readily create your own User channel settings.

If I need to preview the settings for a channel, I simply drop it into channel 40 since it is seldom used.

Many thanks for your thoughtful response, Keith.

I appreciate your considering the option for a future update.

Why .. indeed it is !

    Options are good. ☺

That’s one of the reasons the SQ is staying in the van and the X/M is at the gig.

The other is … no SQ-You app. That should have been ready on day one.

    Sorry … very disappointed.

Either is a work-around … although not ideal.

I was just not ready for this since my X & Ms do not mute the bus (Mix) out when the DCA is muted.

Maybe this needs a select button in the configuration ?

I can use both my iPad and Samsung Galaxy tablet at the same time … so … it will support these two simultaneously.

The Android app was also updated. Both function nicely. ☺

    Works great !

Also … thanks for fixing the FX and AUX master fader control on the MixPad app. Both iOS and Android apps function nicely.

Now all we need is an SQ-You ! ☺

Yippee … my Safe Case for the SQ-5 arrived today. It fits the mixer like a glove !

While I will likely remove the mixer from the case during use, there should be ample ventilation if it’s left in the bottom tray of the case.

Now I can use the bubble wrap for something else ! ☺
