Three totally configurable rotaries with LCDs on every channel. I These colud also be assigned to FX parameters.

    Example:

Rotary 1 on drum channels: FX 1 send (drums early reflection)
Rotary 2 on drum channels: FX 2 send (drums reverb)
Rotary 1 on lead vocal channel: FX 3 send (voc delay)
Rotary 1 on B-vox channels: FX 4 send (ADT)
Rotary 2 on all vocals FX 5 (vocals reverb)
Rotary 1 on Ac Gtr FX 6 (chorus)
All rotary 3:s follow current FX / insert / Mix selection a ka compressor etc. to get very fast access to all parameters.

More FX busses as I do spend easily 8 FX [:D]

USB connector on operator side of console

    USB palyer/recorder ond/or iPod connector

iPad dock to use iPad as secondary touch screen and remote

    WiFi

    Midas style POP groups

    Motion sensitive spring reverb [8D]

    Coffee machine…

check / replace the cables connecting them.

    I hope this helps

Sound and video were taken from same power distro, changing cables did not help, we even tried connecting to monitor mixer. Only thing that helped was as I changed stereo matrix to two mono matrixes. Physical outpits remained the same. So the failure was defenitely in iLive system.

This error seemed to disappear as firmware was updated.

In my opinion, this is the exact way to do it!!!! Still supporting “old” products and bringing new stuff to markets. I still have Soundcraft SR200 in my studio, it’s over 20 years old and still rockin’! I also have two MH-series Soundcraft analog consoles AND iLive. They are all great.

Actually you do not zero Yamaha (at least LS9) by recalling scene zaro! Beware, it does not reset all parameters f ex delays in sends. You can zero all by holding down “Scene memory” when powering it up. This really clears the console,; no scene memories left, so remember to back up.

    Well back to iLive:

You gotta be careful when palying around with shows; Just had an issue as we rented to surfaces and one rack: I made back-ups with that one rack as I left the other mix rack in the tour bus (the band needed a iDr48 instead of our 32:s, that’s why). So even the surface showed the shows saved there, the rack over rules them and the configuration is wrong. So allways make the back ups with the very configuration you’re using.

This might’ve been mentioned. So what, here it comes (again?):

In Show manager and Scene manager should definitely be DATE and TIME always. And possibility to order files by date and time.

I think part of the reason is that every guest engineer’s experience with an iLive is different. Every time they encounter an iLive it’s been set up differently, sometimes good, sometimes not. This makes the initial experience confusing for a guest or festival engineer … and its first impressions that count. In comparison, every time they use a Yamaha or Avid it’s the same.

The situation is pretty much the same as with lighting consoles or DAW:s these days: You have many possibilities to execute the show. I really like the possibility to create the mix surface the way I want it, not the way Yamaha wants it. This leads to situation that house engineer must be experienced with the console and he/she must understand different approaches to both the surface and mixing.

Well, standard is good for many people but flexibility for others. They just cannot be in the same dinner table ;-)

PS Sorry for off topic, this could be a nice topic to talk about.

What about making a PlaNet device for the purpose? Roland’s made a nice solution: https://www.rolandsystemsgroup.com/articles/100009

The console should warn, if it drops sync. Or changes it to internal from ACE port B. It sounds really strange when it’s out of sync.

This is my personal oppinion: You should never use a mixing board as a system prosessor.

I’d love to have libraries recalled by doudle clicking. It’s very slow to use recall button.

As well in editor if I sellect a channel, previously sellected should disappear.

    +1.

I’d also like to have “scene export” to pc to send file to festivals etc. (Or am I blind?)

I’d love to have some quick presets in effects and possibly a quick access to all effects to call a preset with one touch:
