It seems to be a bug that a lot of people experience. As a workaround, you can choose mixrack/surface under “system” when logged in.

Since I’ve been running 1.97 I have had to plug in my USB, plug out and back in before Director sees the drive.

You have to run in surface mode if you want to have the sel option. I do this in a Surface-less setup and it works great. 🙂

I haven’t done any shows with a midi controller, but I tried setting something up. It was quite a lot of work as you need to midi map everything. I had OSCulator to do the midi mapping and Allen & Heath Midi Control to bridge my computer and MixRack. Worked great, but as said, quite a lot of work.

Nice. Do you run PAFL and talkback or do you just live without?

I’m not relying on Waves (right now at least) – primarily using it for multi tracking until I maybe/maybe not expand with some more Waves stuff.

Are you Surfaceless as well?
