    Often the built in recorder is used as a backup record. in this use case, the recording format does not need to be full quality 96K wav. A simple 192kB/s MP3 would suffice. The file sizes on a 2-3 hour WAV recording become huge and take ages to copy to USB.

    Keep the WAV option for those who need to do full quality recordings, but please add an option to change the format and bitrate of recordings for those of us who need smaller files to be able to transfer quickly at the end of a show!
