Ours has never dune anything like that. Have you tried resetting it or performing initializing the console? Wipe all of the memory and build a scene from scratch. See if it still acts up. I’ve had a couple weird glitches in other desks over time and corrupted scenes have been a common culprit.

It never hurts to have an extra aux, group, or FX set up just in case. Anything to prevent you from having to make configuration changes on the fly. Config changes are even a pain during warm-ups, etc. I’ve made changes and had loss of audio for up to 2 minutes…

Yes, I realize that you will lose audio on config changes. It just seems that sometimes the audio loss is longer than others.

    Ditto!

Caught myself mixing the other day after updating to 1.9. I hit the GEQ fader flip button once like normal and went back to mixing not realizing that the flip didn’t take me back to the mix. Fortunately it was during a rehearsal.

If it were a “real” remote you could select channels to PAFL as well. I find it a little frustrating that I have to rely on the guy @ FOH to PFl the monitor to my IEM when I’m on stage working on IEM’s with the vocalists.

I’d love to be able to walk up the the LV and solo his mix in my ears as I’m adjusting it without the FOH guy having to keep an eye on me to see which person I’m mixing for at the moment.

If I were you and had tried factory reset and everything, I would contact A&H. We’re running an iDR64 and T-112 and everything updated perfectly.

We are not currently, but are hoping to come up with a PC that’s capable of it. I’m interested to see what others have to say that are doing this currently. I have used Dante to dump a couple channels back in, but not the full boat.

Here are some pics of the proposed case. Space is at a premium, so I’m thinking of losing the excess depth of the keyboard tray, dropping the doghouse, and seeing what that gets me. Should I worry about getting rid of the doghouse? Is it providing more stability than I think?

Select the outputs button below the touch screen.
select the tab for the MMO card I think it’s labeled slot b.
touch the Aviom connector on the screen and it will open a matrix box.
You can select from drop down menus and use input channels, mono aux, stereo aux, etc.
Pick the type you wish to assign and then choose the number.

for instance, pick the number one Aviom channel, then pick the type “input channel” then pick number 12. You have just assigned the direct out of ch12 to aviom output 1

    hope that helps

I do believe the only way is to reset the whole console. I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong.

Straight from p. 75 of the OM.
Note: Only set passwords if you really need to.
Make sure you keep a log of all passwords
    allocated. Clearing passwords required resetting
internal jumpers and clearing the memories.

Well, the manual didn’t help. Of course it wouldn’t since it was from the older ver as well. I downloaded the new one and found where to make my assignments. All is well.

    Thanks

    You’re welcome.

OK, so I read the release notes and found I needed to upgrade the firmware. I successfully updated the firmware, and it now recognizes the card, but I can’t figure out where to assign the outputs.

I got some good news today! I’ll be able to have my hands on the console by Friday night, so I should be in good shape for sunday.

I am anxious to get my hands on it and see what we can do!

I shouldn’t have too much trouble with that. Not that I haven’t done that before. [:o)] I am not new to digital, just new to iLive and I have already found out the firmware ver. and set up the basics of my show in the editor.
