I would much rather see the ability to un-link Mix Outputs 5 thru 10 on all QU mixers. That way I could have up to 10 mono mixes or any combination as needed. This would be helpful on the QU-16 because its not getting anymore aux sends in the 1.8 update.

Sure lets make it an FFT. Hopefully there’s enough horsepower in the mixer
for that analysis and display. Otherwise even the RTA is better than nothing.

Are you recording just the stereo mix or are you recording multi-track and mixing
after the service is over ?
Are you converting the 48khz/24 bit wave sound files to Mp3 for Podcast playback ?

I had that problem but it worked on the 2nd try.

Ipad (1st generation) and Airport Express (version 2) have worked great for me on both
a GLD-80 and the QU-16. Make sure you have WAP and connect at 5ghz. Range good past 100 feet.

Sony 64GB thumbdrive works great too. 18 tracks 48 khz/24 bit files for 3 hours no problem.

Same problem here.I have been able to upgrade the system software and sometimes
you can see audio files grayed out, but it will not play audio files.
Mixer works and sounds great otherwise.

Thanks for the midi work-around mamerica. I would still like to disable
it entirely though, if possible, in a future upgrade.

Dave, I am using DP 8.06 running on a Mac Mini (I7 chip, 1TB fusion Drive, recording
to external SSD drive with Thunderbolt interface)
I record professional musicians (mostly) and no one has had anything to say about latency
even when playing along with previously recorded tracks.

You have to go to the MAc Audio Midi setup application and specify
QU-16 as the output for the MAC.
