I record 2 mics in M/S configuration in to channel 1&2 on the QU-16, then on to digital Performer
on a laptop. I throw on an M/S decoder and bring it back into the QU-16 for monitoring……..

You can use a xlr splitter to feed the figure 8 microphone to two channels.
Then flip the polarity on one channel. Pan hard left and right.
    Then your good to go.

I use a Lacie 500 gig drive formatted on the QU-16 and it works perfectly all the time.
I take recent recordings off the drive right away and store them for mixing on my
computer system. That way the Qu-16 is always empty when I do a new recording project.

    Hello,
You should be able to set the Delay FX unit to 100% wet.
This will give you what you want I believe.
    cheers,
    Mike

This has nothing to do with FOH mix.
I have individual channel mutes setup and Fx mutes. That’s all good.
But when you have a Client jump on stage to do a speech or presentation
of some sort, it is really helpful to be able to mute all monitor mixes
quickly. Its just better that way.

    cheers,
    Mike

I can’t find tap tempo softkey on the Qu-pad either.
It works great on the mixer itself.

    Hi Lou,
I have used 1.2 on two gigs so far and its all
good. Having the names on the channel strips of Qu-pad is great
    and the mute groups.
    cheers,
    Mike

I use one the DCA’s to make that happen and another to mute all
    monitor mixes.
    cheers,
    Mike

I’d like to second Geddy’s requests and thank Allen and Heath for the new forum.
