When recording audio with the CQ20B to SD card, and trying to sync it with video, it would be really useful if the timestamps on the files were sync’d with an actual clock. At the moment they are always 1/1/2017 01:01. Even better if the filenames or folder name included the timestamp. This would make file management so much easier.

I couldn’t find anywhere in the CQ’s system settings to set the date and time. Does it have a CMOS clock or equivalent? Even if not, it could presumably get a timestamp from the connected ipad which presses the record button, so it might be achievable with only software changes.

+1 on this. I actually registered for this forum specifically to make this suggestion. PLEASE let’s get the date and time from the mixer stamped on to the SD card on format and written on the recording files. Thanks!

+1 on this. I recorded several multitrack sessions and just knowing when they were recorded would be very helpful.

+1 and also joined the forum specifically to figure out why all my recordings defaulted to Epoch time.
