(reviving an old post) I would love it, too!
Even now, that GLD has _more_ effects than iLive, but it lacks the “spkr matrix” one..
Why? If I could ask for.Massimo
2013/09/30 at 9:40 am #35034in fact my idea was some sort of Ilive IDR-0 equivalent.
I already have a GLD80 (with AR24 and AR8) and I use it for everything, even if I need only, e.g., 8 channels and 3 auxes.
Something cheaper than QU16 that can be put in the rack together with AR’s (maybe less DSP power than a standard GLD80, let’s say only one AR24 or AR8 compatible)would be a great portable solution for smaller events. I/O would be just d-snake port, lan and a trimmed headphones output for pafl’s.
Am I just dreaming?Regards

Oh yes, it would be great for me! Because I’m one of the (few? many?) users that had no problems with the old sensitivity scheme, while the newer one always leads me to corrupt some pan value…ehm…

Originally posted by Dave– selecting PAFL did not provide any audio through the iPad headphone out. Is there something I’m missing here?
it would be too good to be true “PAFL” is just the remote command to the mixer, so you can listen to it only thru the “headphones out” on the mixer.
there is a common workaround: connect a wireless IEM to the headphones out and use your “remote” headphones thru the bodypack.Regards
Massimo2013/03/01 at 9:53 am #33268“end of february”… which year?
no other news from A&H staff, so let’s hope that it’s just on its way, even in (the very first days of) March…regards
Massimo2013/02/13 at 10:27 am #33119Thanks Nicola, just what I need to know!
And the Ilive webinar video was also very explicative about this topic.Regards

is there any practical guide, for using one over another GEQ type?
or some specific topic on Ilive forum. Thanks
Massimo2012/12/27 at 6:10 pm #32548Another little wish: I’d like something similar to the iLive efx “spkrmatrix”, or simply a LF/HF cutting filter with x-over capabilities on mix outputs; something for creating a simple 2.1 PA system without using an external processor.
Thanks, regards.

Chris
thanks Chris, but it’s just another workaround and not so handy too…
I don’t want a “job getting done” but a logical (and IMHO actually missed) function implementation.Regards
Massimo2012/12/21 at 10:13 am #32509so, let ‘s try on this post, my very humble wishlist is:
– fx sends for groups (without reassigning another dedicate aux)
– a little more extended chars table for the player (if I had a title containing “à” or “è”, then the song simply disappears from playlist)
– pafl clearing function (headache headache…)
– ah! and oh well.. the three-letters word starting with “a” and ends with “p”thanks, regards.
Massimo2012/12/21 at 9:59 am #32508there is an old post of mine about it:
https://iliveforum.allen-heath.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2072
never happened again, though (but never seen an official answer by A&H too..)regards
Massimo2012/12/17 at 10:14 am #32442my wish is to have an official/sticky “wishlist and buglist” topic.
Thanks, regards.

where have you read it? and who are “they”?
Thanks, regards.
Massimo
They would be A&H, and I found it on this forum. Specifically https://iliveforum.allen-heath.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2053 about halfway down.
David
uhm… I read only a RobC post (the only one from A&H) where he said that “they are working on it” on September. No additional news or a December timeline.
Regards.

2012/11/12 at 9:29 am #32023yes, it’s very easy to do: just pull out the center black pin on each one
