Thanks Nicola, but it’s just a workaround (what if my project has no available auxes?). It’s so clear and simple, that it seems a forgotten feature… or not?

Massimo2012/10/02 at 6:53 pm #31545if I understand you well, you want to drive an efx with a group output, right? You simply cannot do it, and I don’t understand why…
in other words, you can send a group to auxes, but not to an efx.
please A&H staff, clarify this thing!Regards
Massimo2012/09/18 at 8:20 am #31320Another related request: is there any hope to see group’s effect sends in the next firmware release (there are already the auxes but not effects)?
Thanks in advance, regards.

However, this is the most elegant solution:

Originally posted by perdutHello, I’ve had that problem too , only once, about 15 seconds, screen locked not work, the faders do not respond, but the sound worked. It has not happened again so far. First I did not care, but I read this and I worry more. Hope is resolved!

Do you remember which firmware you had that moment?
have you been recording or reproducing something from a usb pendrive?
Did you notice anything strange when you switched it off?hope A&H tech’s discover it, I don’t know any other useful info’s I can submit; the “event log” is pretty unuseful (it just says when you boot it up, load some template or scene, and when you turn it off).

Mine, after that bad situation, never froze up again, meanwhile I updated the firmware (1.02).Regards

Originally posted by KoopdaddyI am sure A&H may have a valid reason for not having including it. It is just frustrating from my perspective that it wasn’t.
Probably it’s just a matter of bugfixing time, as Rexeltw said, I tend to agree to that statement, less (a lot of) to a “marketing decision”.

Massimo2012/06/14 at 10:39 am #30832Hey Sam
what do you mean with “tech support”? My local distributor or your headquarter in UK? Do I have to open a support ticket?
How can I copy the event logs from the mixer? In the meantime I formatted the usb pendrive (it’s a 8GB Freecom “UsbCard”), the “slow and complete way”.
Let’s see this week….Regards

Originally posted by bucksOut of interest, do you therefore anticipate needing to use GB of Audio files ? I’d be interested to get feedback on how much audio people need to use.
I thought to keep it quicker and simpler to navigate, users might put a smaller collection of MP3’s for use with the current show on a USB Key, instead of having to navigate up and down complex tree hierarchies of Audio every time they wanted to play something.
Personally I have a 8 GB pendrive always with me and it’s enough, both for playing and recording.
Talking about playing, I’m with you Andy, when you say “keep quick and simple”, but without folder support, you have all the mp3s mixed up in the alphabetic order, regardless of subfolders. It’s not that simple..
My best view of this facility is try to implement a “virtual cd player”, where I choose an album (a subfolder or a playlist) and then playing it from beginning to end, also with the possibility to repeat or shuffle the whole album. Nowadays I already can do it with a ripped cd on a single flac or wav file, but I loose the single track control.my 2 cents.

Originally posted by Mike MullinI would like to have the option of using this sort of feature.
ThankyouWaiting for an official reply from A&H, but I think this is a “hardware” feature, not a “software” feature, so it’s simply not possible. As other say, IMHO I prefer not to have it, it would lead to more accidental errors than to effective advantages.
