Sounds like you are trying this in demo mode, is that correct? You need to be connected wirelessly to the iLive system to load actual settings when you eg. change the mix or selected channel.

2013/04/21 at 9:50 am #33771Hey, the problems with the lags and unstable app you pointed out… I am mixing from my ipad 3 and 4 every single weekend on large and small venues and I havent had a problem like this ever.
There are some nice suggestions you made about the app, but i wouldnt call it a total disaster at all, you can make so much more things on this ipad app compared to other companies’ apps, you have your two custom layers, which can make the workflow incredibly fast, you just need to think about it when you set them up.
This app is saving my ass in unexpected moments for a long time now.

2013/03/25 at 12:17 pm #33568well, last time i had it on the iDR under the nivtec stage and it was OK, without dropouts for 21 hours totaly (3x rehearsal and main show.)
The problem with the dropouts of the iPad and not the laptops could be caused by the ability of the MixPad app, which used to rather disconnect then not letting you think you are changing something and you are actualy not.
I would take a look at the setting for DIR 815, i belive its posted on the forum somewhere (a PDF saying what to set up and how) and see how it goes.

iPad3 + TL-WDR43002013/03/25 at 12:24 am #33563We have had an awesome experience with iPad 3 and our router (in signature), I’ve run even whole shows, even whole day (12 hour straight!) with my iPad, mostly next to T112. I am gonna try the iPad 4 with new MixPad update soon but I expect the same result as with iPad 3.
I always try to position the router on the right place, away from iDR, away from speakers, away from wireless mics and I always get great results.
Whats your router, whats it’s settings? What firmware and Mixpad version do you use? I guess we can help.

iPad3 + TL-WDR43002013/03/14 at 9:53 pm #33453Happy to hear it, as I am not able to attend this weekend on a big show with my iPad 3, so co-workers was forced to use iPad 4 anyways. What a lucky coincidence it went out this week.

iPad3 + TL-WDR43002013/02/05 at 2:16 pm #32977Hey, one more problem. Does anyone have a solution?
We are currently running iLive T112 with iDR 48 with no cards in port B, surface is connected with the ace port, wireless router (tl wdr4300) is set up as 192.168.1.11 to network port, there is notebook connected to network port at 192.168.1.10.
Router is making a DHCP server 192.168.1.100 till 200, all security is OK.
I am usin iPad 3 wifi only, with iOS 6.0.1 which is running the Mixpad app without any problems everywhere.
We do have an iPad 4, wifi + 3g, same iOS, same account, same application, which has serious droupouts like every five to ten minutes. Ive spread the word around and it seems that we are not the only ones, who have these problems with new iPad.
We have tried almost everything (a 1 solution, restarts, reinstals) and nothing helped. Thanks for every helpful hint.
