Huge +1
2022/02/12 at 8:06 am #105969I dont want to switch to my AUX fader layer each time I want to listen or flip to faders of course. Usually I have +80 channels going on, it has to be on softkeys of course.
The whole issue is I need to be able to only flip to faders, only listen or both at the same time – and it needs to be on softkeys, without using them all up for a standard monitor job. Can be done on most other pro consoles, so obviously a common demand 🙂
2020/01/26 at 3:22 pm #89074Big, big, BIG +1 here.
2018/12/01 at 4:18 pm #80469This is why there is a Cue List (editor). The Scene list contains all your scenes in whatever order you make them, then you have a cue list to assemble them. Different from a lot of other consoles, very flexible however 🙂
2018/09/24 at 8:34 am #78701LC and HC on/off should be available from the EQ page. Also, highlighting the LC/HC band from the EQ page should put the Frequency on the TnT knob. To me this seems like a brainfart more than anything else – as a feature starvation choice it would be simply stupid.
2018/08/08 at 6:29 pm #73218Yeah, very disappointing to see that the IP controllers has basically been forgotten in terms of adding functionality. We need a LOT more options for these controllers. Midi faders and FX parameters to begin with.
2018/08/08 at 6:27 pm #73217Doing what it is supposed to do? It is not “supposed” to limit my possibilities, as it does now. Almost all other consoles on the market has additionel EQ modes by now. It is not about making “incorrect” eq modes, but being able to obtain the curves I need.
2018/06/16 at 6:24 pm #71882Huh? No. You still have only 1 external input to the PAFL.
2018/04/08 at 10:01 pm #70223I for one am really hoping the RF integration is just a small part of 1.70. There are SO many other things that should be further up the priority list:
SIP
Asymmetrical (pultec style) EQ Mode
Return output busses to inputs
2 insert points for output busses
Lot more flexibility in the PAFL bus
RTA overlay on EQ
A proper Transient tool
FX parameters on IP controllersTo name a few.
2018/02/20 at 2:09 pm #69055Would it not be possible to (kind of) build your own processor with Matrix distribution? I know it is not the same, but I think EQ emulations/variations is a far more pressing feature. The new yamaha firmware is AWSOME with the different EQ modes, this would be very very welcome on the dLive, as I think the very clean nature of the console need the tools to take it into different directions. We have got LOTS of compression models to choose from, so I am actually a little puzzled that the EQ has not seen the same creative development.
2018/01/26 at 10:11 pm #68469hold Reset button, touch fader towards 0db.
2018/01/09 at 8:58 pm #68043Please install Midi Monitor or similar to monitor your midi activity.
I have not changed anything other than set up the TCP/IP driver. In Mainstage, highlight the Patch you want to follow from dlive, go to the Workspace tab and click on Attributes. Tick the box Bank Change and Program Change, for scenes 1-127 bank change should be “1” and Program Change the same as the Scene number you want to match on the dLive.
If you want mainstage to also send to dLive on patch change, then you need to add an External Instrument channel inside each patch, highlight this channel for the specific scene, choose midi output, tick the box for Program Change and Bank Change. Remember that this will be offset by 1, since Program Change 0 will recall Scene 1 on the dLive. For scenes 1-127 Bank Change should be MSB “0” (Bank Change 1), “1” for scenes 128-254 etc etc.
Please do the research, this is all something that can be done with proper testing, and something like Midi Monitor.
2018/01/08 at 6:11 pm #68024Scenes from the dLive send bank + prgrm change on Go. Works here with no problems, mainstage patches just needs to be set up with the corresponding program change.
2018/01/08 at 6:04 pm #68023This would be quite cool, but not very much space on an I/O card. I think the good solution for now is a SuperMADI card and a separate MADI converter. Ferrofish and SPL offer very good and cheap converters. Directout Andiamo 2.da for something a little more “roadready”.
2018/01/08 at 5:54 pm #68022There is.
