    Thanks Nicola.

May I ask out of curiosity, why not include full functionality of QU drive?

Ah that is good, I take this also means that mix busses are no longer zeroed by config changes?

I see no response to your post here, so here is an answer to the last question. AMM on GLD will allow you to achieve what you want using the the ‘chair’ parameter. Here are images of the setup for a vocal channel controlling the level of a stereo playback channel (two ganged channels).

As with iLive, dLive mixracks contain the audio processing, no processing in the surface like GLD.

Sorry about that, my head is too stuck in iLive :Z

Most common cause of this is a rogue dca assignment where the dca master fader is down or muted.
It looks like its going where it should, meters are good, routing looks good etc but it doesn’t turn up at L/R, it is very easy to overlook the little dca icon that is there to let you know that this channel actually has another boss.

    Hey Dave

I’m pretty sure you just have to compress the file as for example .zip file before you send it as an email attachment.

1: Yes works fine on my IDR32 every time.

2: You can choose Post preamp gain, Post HPF, Post Gate, Post Insert return, Post PEQ, Post Comp, Post Limiter and Post delay. Also Follow fader and follow mute. Don’t think I have ever heard of a pre gain direct out though.

3: Yes, either on the same channels you recorded through or the 32 reamianing channels of the IDR’s 64.

4:Pretty much the same everywhere unless you find a used one or campaign.

    Good for you!
Tip: save scenes with the routing changes if you wish to do virtual soundcheck! (one scene with rack inputs on all the channels for recording soundcheck and one scene with dante inputs for playback soundcheck)

Have you made the routing in the preamp section of your input channels in IDR48?
Do you have a screenshot of reaper routing matrix and Dante Controller matrix?

How nice would it be to be able to buy a software extension for it to be able to function as a iLive controller…

    @dshriver
I believe adjustable q has always been a feature of ilive mixpad.

If I understand you correctly you want to be able to apply seperate eq to channels being sent to a MON aux while retaining the eq being used for FOH?

The normal procedure for this is to split every channel that needs to have seperate eq settings in the MON aux.

So you have one physical input routed to two seperate channels in the ilive. One channel dedicated to FOH mix not being sent to any MON auxes and one channel dedicated to mon not routed to FOH L/R. These two channels share only preamp gain and48v so set gain sensibly and use trim from then on to make alterations in signal gain before channel processing.

This also gives you the freedom to apply compression to FOH channel only and leave the MON channel uncompressed providing better dynamic response to the artist/musician and creating less potential feedback trouble on stage.

On an ilive you get 64 internal channels, so lets say you have 24 inouts to mix, then you can easily split every one of them and still have room for extra inputs.

    Hey, second that.
Stikes me that ilive with dante might be the ideal mobile studio setup.
Who is already doing this and what are your experiences mixing tracks only on ilive?
