Ok Jay,
Thanks for all these details.
I summarize what I deduce from it:
Just to connect two DX168, it is must easier and safer to verify the local cabling with an appropriate tool.Thank you all

2019/01/16 at 9:13 am #81429Hello Keith,
Yes, Thank you I understood that.
A SQ5 connected to 2 DX stagebox thru an existing wiring (no other device on the network).
I would like to warn of the possible destruction, the SQ5 and the Stage box of a bad wiring (at the installation) by putting a switch on both sides. My question is :
Do you think, Is this a good idea ?Thanks
2019/01/16 at 9:00 am #81428Hello Steffen,
Thanks for your answer.
Do you thinks it is a good idea ?
I have understood, that No Gigabit is needed, because in this case the Slinks would switch on the GigaACE mode protocol.
But to connect 2 x DX168 stage box you must be on the DX mode, so Fast ethernet must be used.2019/01/02 at 10:38 pm #81201I try with a DX stage box where FOH and Monitors are connected, the ploc is significantly less than if we are connect directly to the console.
2019/01/02 at 10:28 pm #81200There is an option where it is possible to increment/decrement scene and an immediate Go. Look better on second option of the soft key.
2018/12/23 at 11:29 am #81043Ok, so in summary, in this case, it seems more than it is a problem of USB driver conflict.
2018/12/22 at 5:34 pm #81026I think yes, you can put the two mic on 4 input channels (one mic on 2 inputs) with the patch and than, have two differents stéréo from the same pair of mics.
2018/12/22 at 1:58 pm #81023I don’t understand, because there is an application called SQ MIX PAD, but it only exists for an iPad, or Android tablet.
2018/12/22 at 1:46 pm #81022The problem is the USB compatibility ! it is very difficult to have a perfect compatibility between USB 1,2,3 and 3.1 and this lot of years before. And this with all hardware (chips) existing . We must be particularly vigilant especially with the new equipment.
2018/12/22 at 1:35 pm #81021You can try to put a USB HUB between. An USB2 preferably. Or perhaps an USB-C(USB3.1) -> USB3
2018/12/22 at 12:18 pm #81016Can you try with an older Mac, because we can suspect the USB3.1 compatibility. With a Mac mini 2015 (USB3), SQ5 1.3.1 there is no problem.
2018/12/14 at 2:24 pm #80861Hello Keith,

I had the same answer last day from support, and try it today.
We use QLAB to send the music and light over OSC, and it will have been great to be able to order also the SQ.
But I did not found where I can put these string.
I can do a lot of things over OSC message, but with midi message, it must be simple command.
So if on a next version, we can add a midi message on each scene, and on each softly it would be great.Thanks.
2018/12/13 at 10:54 pm #80841I correct my previous message, about “scene”
– I discovers that it is possible to affect the command “next previous and Go” scene on softkey (I hadn’t seen that we can scroll the menu).
There is just missing all midi command for that. -
