You can unassign those channels from the foh mix just as you would on an analogue console. You should also do this if you are using sub groups.

    Hi Mika,
The comb filtering you noticed is normal when double bussing a signal to one output. This is normal for any digital console due to differing latencies on the two signal paths. Double bussing is usually considered bad practice, is there a particular reason you are wanting to do this? With correct gain structure it should never be necessary. If you are using the group to feed a separate physical output it should be unassigned from L/R.

    Hmmm…. sounds a bit strange!
Scene recalls are almost instantaneous on my unit.
Archiving and recalling shows takes several seconds as the ilive totally reconfigures, but this is not something that you would ever be doing mid performance.
Perhaps they had some confusion understanding the difference between scene/show recall?

    Hi Przemko,
As there are several buttons sticking, my guess is that during shipping the pcb has shifted slightly or the chassis has twisted. This will cause the button tops to bind in the cutouts.
Whatever the problem, contact A&H. The support from the guys there is second to none.
    Cheers,
    Darren.

By definition, delaying a signal means the signal will be absent until it reappears after the delay!
I’m not sure what else you are expecting.

So, if a signal is delayed by, say, 200ms, what fills that 200ms of silence while we wait for the signal to reappear?
I suppose it could be time stretched digitally, but then we must accept the huge amount of distortion this produces!
Enquiring minds would like to know.

    Hi Paul,
You need to hold the 48v button on the surface for a second for it to work. This is intentional, to stop embarrassing accidents. The soft button on the screen will work instantly.

I had trouble with vista and have spoken to tech support to make them aware of the issue.
However I seem to have solved the problem.
When starting the software you need to right click and select “run as administrator”.
This has worked fine for me, both online and offline.
    Cheers,
    Darren
