This is possible via a workaround by using the softkey to trigger a scene that performs the function and then have that scene also change that softkey operation.

I agree though, I would love for softkeys to offer a toggle option. It’s silly that it’s not easy to have one button to switch between live inputs and virtual soundcheck.

I think the best solution for this is A&H custom control app. You should set up an additional PAFL bus and route that to the Backline RF Tx. Then route the usual Backline Aux in the default mix section and the shout bus/aux to the ex input Talk to PAFL.

Then build them a page in custom control with buttons to solo the things they need. You can also use custom control for their TB assign so they can select which band member they need to talk to.

Hey there! I have two used C1500 cases from Circle Three that I purchased for my CTi before they were making CTi cases. Happy to sell you one for a good deal since it’s already been on the road and has some wear and tear.

    +1 bump to this thread.

The Everything IO ecosystem definitely needs this as an option. Today, I was trying to switch a showfile with everything sourced from a DM48 to 3x DX168’s. I tried saving a preamp only scene with the mixrack and recalling it once softpatched and… nothing. Ended up having to just write everything down and manually input which just seems like a waste of time when these consoles have FPGA chips and 800+ routing paths.

Not sure the best way to do this? Maybe a global input preamp store and recall in the utility section that does a snapshot of all 128 input channel settings.
