A toggle on/off or active/inactive would be great to have for many programmable settings.

This is possible via a workaround by using the softkey to trigger a scene that performs the function and then have that scene also change that softkey operation.

I agree though, I would love for softkeys to offer a toggle option. It’s silly that it’s not easy to have one button to switch between live inputs and virtual soundcheck.

Scenes are a workaround, yeah, but keeping up with all the filtering when the input stereos or bus configuration changes can be a huge pain and can really bite you if you miss fixing even just one scene.

It’s probably not really an issue when you’re doing a week of rehearsals then take the show out on tour for a while, but when every week amounts to its own show and you never get a straight-through rehearsal it’s pretty easy to miss something.

What exactly do you need ? Because you can do on/off softkey a channel now. And most of the settings that are an “on/off” can be switched with soft keys, they even show the state with the led. What function exactly are you missing ?
