Right before the recall, you ‘save’ the current state into the undo memory slot.
When hitting “undo” the console recalls the previous state.
It’s not that much code.
2019/09/04 at 3:45 pm #86193So trying this on Director with touchscreen laptop if I move my finger away from the gain knob to the lower right corner of the screen I have some better control.
If I try this on delay there is no difference no matter how far away I am from the control.
I’m going with it doesn’t support touch location based fine control. It just appears to with certain controls.
2019/08/19 at 2:09 pm #85933I’m having a hard time following what you want to do (language barrier I’m assuming). No worries though I’ll try to help. 🙂
Run GX to SQ5 sLink port. Buy sLink card and install in SQ5. SQ5 sLink card to SQ7 sLink port.
FOH IO port remains open for waves/dante. Gain controlled by monitor mixer.
AR2412. No official way. You could do it with some fancy networking, but it’s not advisable IMO. AB168 is expandable so you can have 40×20.
2019/08/15 at 3:26 pm #85884Agreed, I wanted to do this on the SQ platform awhile back.
The Yamaha per output socket delay menu is nice for this kind of granular control. Also pushing the encoders down to allow for individual control worked well on the M7 platforms.
Something similar for dLive/SQ would be nice.
Workflow process would be delay both L/R with same knob > (toggle button) control now delays L > (toggle button) control now delays R > (toggle button) > back to both L/R control.
Very useful.

I was quite surprised we couldn’t do this. Much faster than using the director’s soft keys or mix buttons.
2019/08/15 at 3:05 pm #85882My measurements indicate otherwise. At the socket output.
I didn’t think to test the internal routing to see if it aligns internally. That would be a good idea.

Though I’m derailing a feature request thread started last year, my bad.

Or additional layers on the softkeys would be awesome.
2019/08/15 at 2:31 pm #85879I like the image too. It matches my tests of latency too.
Though I wish the Main/Group/Aux outputs were aligned :/
Still, have to burn two aux/groups to do parallel compression (with a fader). Though a control knob controlling the compressor processed/unprocessed would work.It would be sweet to have it updated to have the Mix Ext In added to the Matrix along with the latency of each position for reference.
2019/08/15 at 2:11 pm #85876With ganging, all of these can be accomplished.
2019/08/15 at 1:47 pm #85875Agreed, while there might not be any consensus on what DCA mutes do. I think it’s more useful to have DCA mutes not affect any pre-fade sends. There’s currently no easy option to turn the channel on/off and mute/unmute.
(mute/unmute = mains/post-fade sends)
(on/off = entire channel turned on/off right after gain)With IEMs so abundant, keeping the signals in their ears makes complete sense.
Heck, it would be cool to have a per-aux setting. Just like direct outs can follow fader mute.2019/07/25 at 2:51 pm #85498Well, I started recording a video to try and replicate this today after a fresh restart and load of my show file and no dice.
It was pretty easy to replicate (just load an fx unit and then change to insert and back to mix->return) And FX units other than the new one would show up in the invalid state.
Oh well. I’ll play with it some more today and see if I can replicate it on camera. Gah schrödinbug strikes again!

One of the first things I noticed when I got my dLive. Meant to start a feature request. Thanks!
2019/06/05 at 5:13 pm #84355Maybe a “move channel” feature instead of copy? Dunno, but yeah would be nice.

Just the ability to downgrade would solve this problem. And I believe it would be simpler to implement programmatically compared to a dongle system.
