I returned the Cq20b to my dealer because of disapointment about Effects Quality.

If you do not have the chance to use more usabel algorithm then at leasst please hand over more tweaking parameters.

Perhaps then I rejoin the CQ-Cmmunity.

Even when there is no price called out it will be to high for me.

So I go with the CQ20B.

Got the answer to my question:

The Reset procedure enables you to switch from wifi to Ethernet without using Software.

I will check.

Just starting with CQ20B and MixPad app, I can tell, there are much more intuitiv than this one.

Recieved my 20B yesterday.

First of all: for me, coming from the analog world, this digital unit is the first to satisfy my sound requirements at once. Well done A&H.

The reset button use is some how funny. I will check the weekend, if it also enables switching wifi/ethernet without networkconnection.

As I found out, that the description of the default network setting is wrong, so the automatical connection of ethernet did not work, and the IP adress was different.

After then using wifi I had acess to the unit.

So there is light and shade.

Yes but not Ethernet and Wifi parallel.

So what happens when Wifi breaks down? You wire the PC via Ethernet Switch the toggle and go ehead,

But what if you habe a 20B? No screen no toggle mo ethernet.

I did not know when I ordered the 20B.

But I ordered the CQ20B while I was told that I can leave my acesspoint at home.

So now I have to bring it just because there is this stupid toggle switch.

Not funny.

Easy answer it is the 18T.
12T has not enough channels,
20B has no PC connection parallel to Wifi with out workarround of an external router.

Sorry Scott when I 100% disagree.

1) other cheap mixers can do it
2) any cheap and simple router can do it
3) A&H built in touchscreens in the 18T and enabled paralel tweeking via Wifi

And if you loose wifi connection with the CQ20B during the show, what happens? No chance to wire Ethernet and use it. You must reboot, because the toggle is switched to wifi.

Seems to me there is a bug?!?!

Hey guys

When I left the analog mixer world of my Dynacord Powermate it was because of the bad sounding FX ( digital ).

But the digital mixers I owned were worse. So by the time i heard a QU 16 and later a SQ5 I knew the price of real good digital mixers.

And then CQ appeared.

I read all comments of prof sound engineers, what you can not do with these little boxes, and I knew, as a musician, you will never need them.

A&H did agood job for musicians, and put a good price lable on it.

And when the FX is only hals as good, than you tell me. I‘ll be glad.

Decision done: CQ20B only trouble, if Wifi fails, direct connection is nit possible because of toggle beteeen Ethernet and Wifi.

Robert, cancle my question. They really divide into wifi and ethernet.

Do perhaps I have to use the dame workarround.
But then I think I‘ll rather go with an extenal Router.

In life situation it is no problem to have no ethernet connection parallel to Wifi using 12T or 18T but with the 20B it is essential.

Please give us an access point including ethernet.
