Another vote for MIDI control, just like all other A&H digital mixers!
As the colour options are the same across all A&H digital mixers, at least up to Avantis, I can’t give first hand knowledge of DLive as I have never used one, I very much doubt tha CQ will ever get more colours!
MIDI control is my main want, as all other A&H mixers support it, and I use it on Avantis, AHM and SQ, also did on Qu when I had one, I really miss it on CQ range. It is actually over TCIP on all other mixers, so my guess is it would be the same on CQ, when implementing.
Of your points, the more colours and more than six characters are highly unlikely as this is the same on all A&H digital mixers, at least up to Avantis (not used DLive so can’t comment, but believe it is the same) so it will take a whole change of the way they design the displays!
I’m afraid you are probably asking the wrong company for that function, certainly Qu, SQ, Avantis and AHM series don’t have it , so I doubt they would include it on the entry level range. The reason I know is I either own or operate all those series, and have just bought CQ18T.
It would seem that the PEQ/GEQ button in demo mode is not yet active, I also tried before I got my CQ18T, it works fine connected.
I would have to see screen shots of your zones page, with a signal applied to relevant inputs to make any comment.
I have recently installed AHM32 as down stream processing for our church Avantis, using 1 band crossovers and the whole system worked perfectly first attempt. I did all the programming off line on AHM Manager app and loaded it straight onto the already installed unit no problems!
I own AHM64 have installed AHM16 and currently have AHM32 on order for an install. I have been posting on the unofficial AHM user and installer Facebook page, but wish we had official AHM Forum here.
ME-1 is a receive only device on the DSnake bus, hence cannot send anything anywhere. I can only receive the 40 channels allocated to it by the main mixer.
I have a similar problem, but it is made worse in that the xdr16 is used on the drum riser, hence no drums in virtual mix!!!! Any suggestions
Idr32 xdr16. T112.
Just tried Richards idea. Works great with my iPad, now to buy an iPod touch to keep in church with the system as not all my operators have their own iPad.
