A&H are always quiet about every mixer when it come to updates, they will never tell you what is coming. They announce things at the most 48 hours before release. So don’t expect any hints.
That is not a “real time “ clock ie it has no reference to day, date hour of day etc , it is purely an elapsed time measurement.
I don’t see where there is any room for mute button on processing screen, it’s already very tight. I suppose you could make it appear where the send to fader is on RHS or move PEQ and compression up and fit it above the send display.
You might have to wait until they introduce such on DLive, then Avantis, then SQ, possibly even Qu before you get it on CQ. The product will have been superseded by then!
I disagree entirely, I really like the CQ app, and I have been using A&H gear since 1972!!!
I think it has a few bits that could be improved, but when I first used it I was impressed.
Interesting request! Though not for me personally, SQ5, no rotaries!
Most unlikely you will get that on CQ, it is not even on Avantis!
Buy AHM, I have installed AHM32 to give more matrices to Avantis, and AHM16 for SQ5 in different churches, you also get the advantage of pretty decent loudspeaker processing as well. Also if you route all your outputs through AHM you get complete Custom Control capability for each O/P. I love the AHM range.
If you do not require a large number of channel to mix on/off options, it is possible to save each option as a scene with only that option change active, the recall the scene by MIDI. Not perfect but should work, the Avantis I use is in our church so can’t try it right now.
As I pointed out to another person earlier, there is no real time clock in the CQ series so that is a bit difficult!
That will be a bit difficult because the CQ range do not have real time clock, as far as I can find.
Why? What do you gain, that can’t be better served by Ethernet connection?
In answer to your last two suggestions, both of those have to be bought as add ones for SQ and Avantis, it is highly unlikely you will get them included in CQ.
I agree a method of locking certain functions, including softkeys, is a notable lack. I am used to SQ, Avantis and AHM, all of which have the ability to allow or block changes some way or other, when a scene is loaded.
