I think it’s not possible… you would have to “GANG” 2 AUX together but in my mind you can just GANG ipnut Channels together!

Can you tell us why you would like to link them together?

If you want to do a Stereo AUX then just pick the stereo-aux! (you can choose the numbers of stereo and mono auxes in the SETUP-menu)

Another way would be that you route for example the AUX 1 to Output-channel 4 and to Output-channel 5 on the AR2412 Rack. You can do that in the I/O menu!

Last but not least… just copy/paste your settings that you did on AUX 1 to AUX 2! You need to copy once the “AUX1-overall-select” and once the “AUX1-Mix” to recieve everything from AUX1 to AUX2!

What’s about the contrast of the Display? For me it sounds just like the Display doesn’t work!? I don’t have my GLD in front of me but i thought u was playing around with the contrast and with bad settings i didn’t see anything….

Yes, that’s possible, for my opinion the DCA with ALL the vocals is mostly useless! If you have the men- and female-DCA’s next to them you wan’t use the overall vocal-DCA! Don’t forget to switch the “all except of one vocal and one instrument” to “Fader to unity” so no change of the DCA-Fader take affect of the volume! (Change it to a “only mute – DCA)

I use a 4GB FlashDrive and had no problems yet! Even when the drive was full, i could still overwrite existing shows! (Running Firmware V1.0)

Hey tomos.. there is a custom layer already… don’t know which button you have to press (maybe 2x Channellayer) but there you can set-up your own channellist. I could imagine that you can just assign 16Mono Channels from the AR2412 nut you decide which one’s.. (so for example Channel 1-8 and 16-24) Also heard about assign the stereo channels from the AR2412 so you have only 2inputs spare on the Rack.

is it possible to route all of the AR2412 Inputs to the QU16?
I know that there are just 16Prozess-Channels at QU16 but if i have 2 bands then you often have to share the Drum but most of the other channels are for a different mikrofon or DI-Box! Then it would be nice to leave the cables plugged into the Rack and use Channel 17-24 on the AR2412 for the 2.Band.
So it should be possible to safe the Input-Routing on a scene or at minimum in a show-preset?

next Question:
Is it possible to swop the Stereo Output-Channels (IEM-Channels) To Mono-Outputs? (Left XLR-Output mono if you set it up in the syste-menu) So you don’t need a Y-Cable!

Hopefully a mixer that is compatible with the GLD-AR Racks!
I could imagine its a smaller mixer maybe with mountable Rack-Ears for 19″ Cases.
If you study the Name “QU”.. there could be a Q for quick/quality and the “U” for “personal (YOU).. like a Monitormixer….

i’m like a child on christmas morning.. can’t wait to see whats in the gift box!

Other speculations?

Maybe it’s “just” a DAW Controller…

That’s what i did… my own default-template as well with a “Home-Button” (mine is on Softkey9 to have the Tap still on Softkey10 ^^)
Works fine for me and i have saved as well all my different Monitor and FOH GEQ-Settings for the most venues.
I just worry about having activatet all the compressors and HPF on each channel to slow down the console? Or would A&H say that the processor isn’t affected more because of the “Default-ON” value?

Yeah exactly i don’t like to use one of my 48 input-channels, so i will try the matrix-solution at the weekend!
I remember tried to route the USB-Playback direct to the Main but the “trim-function” in form of a fader was what i missed!

So you would say that following would work:
– assign usb-playback to external input of a spare stereo matrix
– Route the Matrix to LR
So i can adjust the usb-playback-volume by using the Stereo-Matrix-Fader!?

I’ve testet the App today and i think it’s great! I’m using it with the Apple-Airport-router and can still work in distance of 50meters from the surface away! Without loosing performance, speed or connection!

I figured out some bugs that are not really important but still nice to correct in next update:
Color-Assignments for the Channels don’t take effect when changing them on the Ipad.

Further nice to have for the ipad-app would be:
1. Meter-view of all channels or of the custom-meter-layer like on the GLD-Touchscreen!

2. The possibility to save and recall GEQ Setting (library)

3. Working with scenes on the ipad (next scene, GO, etc.)

Thank you guys for the App! It’s really worth to me!

I thought it’s not possible to use both USB at once!
The second one is only to charge a smartphone, ipad, or whatever!
First USB that you plug in, can be used in GLD! Or are there any changes since the last firmware update?

Does anyone knows with what Ipad-Generation the Remote App will work? Since the info about GLD getting an ipad app i want to buy one!
What’s about the Wireless Adapter who’s to connect to the GLD? Any special request? Brand? What are your favourites?
