I reformatted a few weeks ago after it first happened and was ok for a couple of weeks then started doing it again. I’m beginning to wonder if it might just be the drive. It seems to work when it wants then other times it doesn’t
2015/04/27 at 10:01 pm #475821) we don’t record multitrack. We record stereo from the qu-drive on top of the mixer not from the back usb.
2) we pull them off the drive to edit, they are not left on the drive. So the drive is empty each week before we start.2015/04/27 at 5:03 pm #47567Yes it will work fine on a computer and if I put it in the board it will read, and even record. It just stops after a few minutes
2015/04/27 at 2:28 pm #47559I posted a link to the drive we are using but it doesn’t look like it is on the list. Like I said though, it has worked fine up until recently
2015/04/27 at 11:36 am #47545My next step will be to buy an external HD probably an sad if the firmware doesn’t fix it.
2015/04/26 at 9:46 pm #47530So it was 171_4815
2015/04/26 at 9:45 pm #47529we have an ar2412 digital snake running to a qu24 mixer. I just downloaded whatever 1.7 firmware update AH had on their site
2015/04/26 at 8:53 pm #47524Thanks I’ll just make sure I disconnect the cat5 that runs to the dsnake. we use powered speakers that connect directly to the dsnake.
2015/04/26 at 8:14 pm #47519No we haven’t been reformatting before every service, We just record take the drive to a computer and pull files off and plug back into board next service. Didn’t really think we needed to as we never had a problem until recently.
2015/04/26 at 7:24 pm #47513One other question how long should update take? Just wondering as our church meets in a school and tears down every week. So was wondering if I could get it set up then update before we get going? Or if we should take it when we leave and update at home as it’s kept in a road case
2015/04/26 at 6:13 pm #47510Also when updating firmware it says put the file in the root directory do they mean f:/ or F:/AHQU
2014/11/25 at 4:27 am #43298Console is on 1.5 can it just be on a normal flash drive and not one formatted for the board. That was what I was going to try next.
2014/11/24 at 11:22 pm #43295I have a question. My church has a qu 24. I was trying to update the firmware but I keep getting cannot find update when USB is plugged in. It is formatted for use with the mixer and the file is in the root directory. (F:) for example. Does it needs to be in one of the qu folders? If not, I don’t understand why the mixer can’t find the file.
2014/11/17 at 4:09 pm #43150Thanks guys I appreciate the help.
2014/11/17 at 5:46 am #43137I’m open to suggestions I just wanted to see what needed to be done. I’ll try Pre LR. Our Pastor is the one who takes the File home he just told me when he tried to play it he had to boost it 400% to make it so he could hear it. I just wasn’t sure what I could do to make it louder. So is there not a way to boost the Level Being sent to the HD if I record PRE/Post Then? It has to be Done on the PC/MAC
