We are not on IEMs yet we are looking at going that route in within the next year so was trying to find the best way preferably cheapest route without buying cheap (off brand iems) equipment. So would getting the me1s and an me-u and then buying IEMs be cheaper then say just buying the sennheisers I posted. Just for reference we are using an ar2412 with a qu24 mixer. Just trying to pass along info to our pastor so when the time comes we can get what we need. I welcome any suggestions we run on the high end 6 people on stage.
2015/10/19 at 11:52 am #51443we just put the LR on a soft key so it can be muted without muting mixes. just like Mixes are on a soft key as a Mutegroup and all vocals are on one and all instruments are on one.
2015/10/19 at 11:43 am #51442it’s just if we want to use personal Mixing units like the Avioms or ME 1s, I would have to use ME1s since the qu mixer doesn’t support avioms even though the ar2412 Dsnake does
2015/10/19 at 11:29 am #51440So I could just use those sennheisers and get 3 transmitters each running 2 packs and just use the mix sends on the board or the snake correct?
2015/10/18 at 11:50 pm #51430One last question would you be able to use something like this https://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-300-2IEM–ear-Monitoring–Range/dp/B003ZVSE5O/ref=sr_1_2?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1445212035&sr=1-2&keywords=sennheiser+wireless+in+ear+monitor+system
or would you still need the ME1 system and would this be compatible with it if it was needed.
2015/10/18 at 11:20 pm #51428also can you use body pack for wireless IEM with the ME1s if so which ones work with the ME1s?
2015/10/18 at 11:15 pm #51427pretty sure the Avioms are not compatible with the qu series mixers
2015/10/18 at 10:32 pm #51425I don’t even see a new Firmware update most current is 1.73
2015/06/08 at 12:26 pm #48524This is the drive we are using https://www.amazon.com/BUFFALO-MiniStation-Portable-Drive-HD-PCF1-0U3BB/dp/B00D695GS8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1433765900&sr=8-2&keywords=buffalo+station+external+hard+drive&pebp=1433765911173&perid=1MH9C6D1QX90QYN8ZA94
Now AH has 2 other models on their tested and approved list.
Buffalo Ministation HD-PCU2 500GB USB2.0
Buffalo MiniStation Extreme 500GB
So I wouldn’t see why this should be a problem. I know not all drives are created equal but we’ve run into this with 3 different flash drives and now this HD.
I guess we’ll see if a factory reset can fix this. Or if we even have some issue with the board. I brought it home to play around with it and see if I can make it do it here.
2015/05/06 at 9:19 pm #47791Good to know. Makes printing off a physical copy hard though
2015/05/06 at 5:21 pm #47785OK then. I had an old manual and I retract previous statement, except the thank you to Bob, and now to you as well. Did not know there was a new one
2015/05/06 at 12:25 pm #47781Thank you Bob , but an FYI it’s 8.5 there is no 10.5 in the manual. The only thing under section 10 is iPad stuff
2015/05/04 at 2:54 am #47735I think you’re right. I am new to the whole digital board and after looking at the manual I believe that is what I’m looking for. Will try it out next week. Thanks
2015/04/29 at 4:40 pm #47636So is this the one you like https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00KT7DOSE/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1430325515&sr=8-3&keywords=sandisk+extreme&pi=AC_SX200_QL40&dpPl=1
dpID=31B5EqHv4LL&ref=plSrch2015/04/27 at 11:35 pm #47596The thing is, it’s not that old we are only a 6 month old church so it shouldn’t be bad, but I know they can fail. so maybe that’s all it is
