    Hi MikeGeez,

Unfortunately OSX 10.8 (Mountain Lion) isn’t supported in V1.83 iLive Editor. We only added 10.8 support in V1.90 iLive Editor.

Running V1.90 iLive Firmware & Editor should bring back all three Editor options.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Hi MoreTalentPlease,

That could be useful. Could you contact UK A&H Support (https://allen-heath.helpserve.com/), to arrange sending it. Plus include any additional information like when the issue started and if there is anything else required to cause the problem.
    Cheers,

    Hi rorikx,

There is a known issue in GLD V1.10 firmware that we are currently working on. Some scenes, with names consisting of 14 characters (which is the maximum number of letters you can name a scene) can cause the GLD to crash and reboot if you store or paste into these scenes.

We will be fixing this in the next GLD maintenance release, but for the time being you can avoid this problem by re-naming any of your scenes to 13 characters or less.

We are very sorry for any trouble this may have caused, and hope to be releasing the new firmware soon.

If you experience any other problems or issues, please contact A&H Technical Support (https://www.allen-heath.com/uk/support/pages/support.aspx).

    Hi HStratmann,

I’ve re-created your issue number 1 above in Editor V1.90, and we should get this resolved in a new version.

Unfortunately I haven’t been so successful re-creating your second issue. Would you be able to send the problem description, show file, and Editor MIDI map over to A&H Technical Support? (https://www.allen-heath.com/uk/support/pages/support.aspx). Hopefully they can get to the bottom of that issue too.

    Hi John,

Do you know what colour the top LED goes on the PL device when the problem occurs? That might help us understand what’s going wrong.

Does the problem happen with any show loaded? Have you tried loading one of the template shows just in case?

If that doesn’t work, perhaps it’s worth contacting A&H Technical Support (https://www.allen-heath.com/uk/support/pages/support.aspx), as they may be able to help.

    Cheers,

    Hi Kentlowt,

I came across a similar problem with iOS6, and found a rather bizzar workaround. I don’t know if this will work for you, but you could try changing your DHCP ‘Router Address’ and DHCP ‘DNS Server’ to your router IP address. So if your routers IP address is set to 192.168.1.254, then set your ‘Router Address’ and DNS to this too.
(You may have to set your internet settings to ‘manual’ to be able to edit these options).
After which, forget the wireless network on your iPad, and re-connect.

This seemed to work for me (although I was using a different router). You could try it, and see if it works. If it doesn’t, you can always revert your router settings to how they were before.

    Cheers,

    AndyH

    Hi tcacfoh,

If you purchase the D-Link 815, you’ll find there are 5 ports on the back. 1 Labelled ‘Internet’ and 4 labelled ‘1, 2, 3, 4’.

You will need to plug your MixRack into any of the 1, 2, 3 or 4 ports. The one single separate port called ‘Internet’ is only for upstream or internet traffic.

    Hope this helps,

    AndyH

    Hi All,

We have software in test at the moment that addresses the issues. We have found some additional issues which we are focused on fixing prior to release. However, we do not foresee this taking a long period of time.
Please be patient whilst we complete the latter stages of this work.

We hope to get a new version of MixPad out there soon!

    Hi Casbru,

Just wondered how you were getting on with setting up your wireless router?

Your IP address (192.168.1.254) and subnet mask (255.255.255.0) were both correct. But you asked about setting your gateway address.

Gateway addresses are only needed when your wireless router needs to send data outside of the network. In a typical MixPad and iLive setup, this is not used. As you said you were unable to set your gateway to blank, I’d simply recommend setting it to something like 192.168.1.253.

We also have a video online about setting up your wireless router. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqIujmcUDps&feature=plcp&context=C4cad199VDvjVQa1PpcFPBOslVyWKRm3X–wnB_pOQOKRY3TiGjXU%3D

    I hope this info helps,

Please post again if you have any other questions :)

    Hi Giorgiomotore,

It sounds like Dante Controller is unable to ‘see’ the Dante module any more. The most likely reason would be if the cable between the card and your PC/Mac got disconnected.

The easiest way to see if a cable has become loose or disconnected, is to check out the LEDs on the front of the Dante module.

If your cables appear fine, you might also want to check your IP address settings. Dante Controller needs to be on a compatible IP address to communicate to the Dante module. As default; you will need to set your network address to DHCP enabled. With no static IP address.

I’m not really sure what else could stop Dante Controller from communicating with the module.

If the above ideas don’t work, perhaps it’s worth giving A&H Support an e-mail as they may be able to help further (https://www.allen-heath.com/uk/support/Pages/support.aspx)

    Hope that’s of some help,

    AndyH

    Hi selfmade,

If it’s just a problem with naming the card, did you know you have to press the enter key after typing the name? As there is no Apply button on the Software. If you double click on the unit, select the ‘Config’ tab, then type a new name. You have to then press enter before closing the window. Closing the window won’t have applied the name. Although, this isn’t very clear in the software.

But if that doesn’t help, I think it’d be best to contact our A&H Technical Support, who can always lease with Audinate to get to the bottom of this.

To contact our Tech Support please go to this address: https://www.allen-heath.com/uk/support/pages/support.aspx

    Cheers,
