Sergio and Woutert, you know you can insert the effect directly on the channel’s signal path, right?

Have you actually developed for Android? yes in a controlled, locked down, environment it can be a very good choice. But that’s not how it would be used here.

But that’s just my speculation

Interesting so it’s probably still a JRE then… But I’m curious because the Qu-16 seems too small to fit a full x86.
Maybe A&H can chip in, or else it’ll be time to get a rental and a screwdriver!

I do not believe this is currently possible. I imagine you could hack togehter something via TCP/IP feedback protocol but not on the LCDs

Is the GLD susceptible to this sort of fun? []
Chris
Yup that makes a ton of sense! That’s how FPGAs work, state until told to reprogram.
No idea about the GLD though

https://dimmercheck.blogspot.com2013/08/20 at 5:18 pm #34657Yes its really easy. Midi to Midi-usb, qlab’s “go” string is documented in their FAQs. Nothing iLive specific about it, same way you’d do it on any console.

Originally posted by millstI’ve got another one.
Ditch the custom FX and go for Waves Soundgrid so we can plug in our own, or guest engineers can bring their own / presets. The amount of effort A&H expends on FX would be better invested in core console functions. My thoughts are that if people want fancy multiband compressors or other effects, let them buy them themselves and run whatever they like.
But, point taken. A Digico style integration would be great.

The fact that the system uses CAT5-cables is just a “coincidence”. You can use CAT5 for a lot of things unrelated to Ethernet…
You also have to be very careful not to connect a computer (or any other Ethernet equipment) to a PL-Anet socket. It’s not good for the Ethernet equipment…
Great that’s what I was afraid of, just couldn’t find a whitepaper speced online.
I’ll order a POE injector.

Originally posted by greywizardahh very nice…I don’t need redundancy.( got the ole gl2400 on standby with a rack)
what i am aiming for is high quality integrated fx processing in/onboard and the ilives seem to offer that. I am looking to network the ilive and IDr 16 to a router to allow control via a tablet or IPAd (wireless) to tweak the signal to perfection lol. In terms of cost, i have been looking for iLive 112 on google but just a few ppl carry it. anyone got a good reccomendation …. I will be in New York in July, so any US merchants you can reccommend would be good.
Contact A&H directly and they’ll be happy to work with you to find a demo location and time
