Could you plug in a keyboard and just hit the key to enter the bios?
What’s your idea here in ‘speeding it up?’ Remember you might run into all sorts of driver incompatibility issues if the firmware A&H releases is for a specific specification of motherboard/chipset, much in the same way you can’t just go install os X on any PC, even though they all run on the same x64 architecture2012/05/23 at 6:55 pm #30668Do you mean for the ilive editor? Does the iLive support an external touch screen?
Also any ideas on native resolution?

Ha ha true that, I can’t tell you how many touring engineers can’t find their way around a Profile rig. I find it blissfully simple but some guys just don’t get it.
Granted, you should see me try and rout an fx on the M7 [:p]

Originally posted by frozenwafflesHi, here is a good feature for external monitor…rather than just replication of internal screen….so in other words … Useless.
Please add the scene automation and SCENE PREVIEW functionality to this screenCurrent stock:

4x Dante Cards, 3x ACE CardsI agree with the OP here, it’d be really nice to have a scene stack option, including notes on the scenes and things of that nature. Additionally it’d be nice to have the option to have it work as a meter bridge or something of that nature.
Granted most consoles do not do this, but thats part of what I love about the Venue system. (granted it’s also twice the price ha ha)
2012/05/21 at 1:45 pm #30643Thanks everyone,
That makes a lot of sense
2012/05/17 at 7:33 pm #30619Thank you,
I was assuming this would be the case. They actually have frequency interference software and have claimed that they need ‘all wireless channels for future use’ whatever that means, even 5.8ghz band. If I hide the SSID I assume they won’t be able to detect it, so ill probably go that route.
Thanks for the advice. Considering MADI but to be honest I’ve got to check with local rental companies to see what digital split types they support.

Tell them to get over or install a wi-fi router somewhere in the rack and do not broadcast SSID. If they ask tell them you are on a special bluetooth network or something. Prefer 5Ghz, disable 2.4Ghz if you can. Activate MAC filtering and use encryption. Try to scan to see if anything else is occupying the 5Ghz channel you will be using.
Remember that iLive editor is free and anyone can install in his/her computer therefore you must secure each profile with a password. Being on the same campus network is unacceptable. Once people see what you are doing, they will come and ask and they they will get some ideas. Some of those nerds will be ready to goof around and you cannot afford to tolerate their jokes during real shows.
