It’s not only 4ms for DVS also you have to add Multirack latency & plugin latency, all plugins have different latency (look on waves site). So to be true i have over all latency about 12ms for L3 limiter, but it do not bother me at all because i use it on groups. Recently i’ve got rid of my WAVES MAX BCL (it has 220samples latency from analog to analog) so now i am using Multirack instead. Anyway if you are big fan of Waves try to make your setup with M-WAVES card it has much less latency. Personally i do’nt want to be so plugin dependent engineer. DANTE opens much more options in interfacing with other equipment e.x. i have purchased 2x YAMAHA MY-DANTE cards and now i am splitting digitally from very popular M7CL… and there is LM26 on my plans. So look for your best solution:)

i recommend you to put recording computer near iDR, i have made the setup based on 2 x Mac mini’s , CISCO gig switch & wifi AP, Mini is for the recording another for Waves multirack & payback, everything controlled perfectly by shared screen ,all cables less than 1m stowed in rack, later will send you a photo.

Seems like problem in configuration of OS try to turn of all fierwall and other network stuff in windows, switch on multicast on iDR. I had similar problem on my Motion computer LE1700 when i changed it to MacBookPro the problem dissapeared.

Thanks Jeff! this seems to me optimal logical explanation for what happened to my setup, but does it have the cure? because this problem then it not solved have negative effect on all network and slows it down.

Thanks Stix! in MacPro i Have disabled Airport, but my AP DLINK-DAP-3520 Has only one RJ-45 connector so i am using SICO switch to connect everything to network.

Ok this my Basic setup and i have no problems with it:

iDR32+Dante card installed, MacPro running Ableton & Waves Multirack plugged into Dante primary port, Dante Control Network connected to iDR’s Network hub, D-link AP conected to iDR’s Network.
This setup tested & working Ok, i am using MacBook connected by WIFI to D-link with the editor & sharing screen with MacPro.

The problems started when i have rented iDR48 & T112 surface,installed Dante card and repeated the same setup, i got Network Collision error.
The same problem was then i have installed it on iDR10 with 112 surface.

The gigabi switch CISCO SG100D did not solved the problems may be problem is in this Part?

I have suggestion for Editor, instead of loading all of the information form console all shows all scenes, to add option that makes possible to chose what to load for ex: only current scene.
And in case if it have disconnected just updating the current scene will be much faster.

1.83 firmware version & editor installed everywhere, all network clients have different IP addresses in range of 1-100.

Did not understand you about subnet with surface connection? did you mean subnet mask?

i have also tested this connection with gigabit switch CISCO SG 100D-08 but the same error ‘Network collision’

i think its 1.83 firmware problem try to install 1.82 and when reinstall 1.83 back, do this with surface and rack connected. maybe it will help i had problem with shows and scenes it was not saving and not recalling, after reinstall works better.

The groups are ideally in phase between group 1 & 2 , 3& 4 and so on . groups with other count 2 with 3 are not in phase, so as no of the groups are not in phase with master, you can check this before your soudcheck with pink noise.
It does not matter if stereo or mono and switching on or of comp, eq, does not effects the phase issue .
