    I have an SQ7 and under layer 2 my Fx1Rtn disappeared. It shows 2-4, how do I get it back?

    Press setup/surface/strip assign then FX. Drag the items you would like onto open layers and slots from top to the bottom.

    I tried that, it goes down there but as soon as I switch layer it disappears again. It also just stays black on the channel strip. I also can’t select it.

    Try selecting an unused scene and reset the board. See if that brings it back.

    As far as I know the Returns disappear when the fx is used as insert.

    Good point Tobias, perhaps that is the issue. I was at a bit of a loss for why it would disappear again.
