DEESSER ! please make it not only narrow band but also shelving or wide band switchable ! it works good on dynamic mic’s but with condensers some of very hi freq are “escaping” from beeing deesed, so it pushes me to use hi freq filter and this causes loss of sibilance in vocals!

thanks Mr B, i have read instructions already, i believe that it works great with expensive racks like iDR10, question is will it ever work with iDR 32, 48 , 64. right now it does not work not ACE , MADI , with this racks!

yes i Know that it is right now ,BUT I have heard rumors that the next generation of iDR’s Will be 96KHZ 24 bit:))
and also iDR’s 32,48,64 will come with new Box!

my setup is 2 idr’s 32 with madi cards, PC win, 2x RME hdsp pci madi cards total gives 128 channel, regular WESTERN DIGITAL drives 500G system, 1000G storage, 7200rpm SATA, recording to NUENDO. NO problems with recording 4- 5 hours 96 -100 channels NEVER!!! setup working already one year. no extra equipment.
possible connections 2 idr’s madi link to one madi RME card, recently i’hve recorded 2 DIGICO 48 RACKS total 96 channel.

HI developers ! thanks for the parallel compression ))!
in next edition many Russian sound engineers are waiting for:
1 : DE-ESSER with option to choose the attenuation band TYPE ! not only this poor notch filter!
2 : multiband compressor! at least 3 bands better 4:)
3 : the ” L C R plus” configuration – needs also the SUB send knob! on each channel (it’s very uncomfortable to organize sub send on aux in year 2011:))) come on!
4 : a option to map to midi chanell SEL & MIX !
