    Hi @geep,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with this.
If this is still an issue, please submit a ticket at support/allen-heath.com
It would be helpful to have your set up in more detail accompanied by a show file, to determine whether this is a software issue or something simple that is perhaps being missed in the digital signal chain.

    Hi @Mask,

Firstly as it is a live show/session happening at the same time, you need to set your inputs and outputs as normal on the I/O Page whether that is the local, Slink inputs and outputs or a combination of the two.

Once you have done this, you need to connect your Windows or Mac OS System to the SQ using the USB B port on the back of the desk. If you are using a Windows operating system, you will need to download the Windows ASIO Driver for SQ USB Control. This is available free from our website.

Make sure once this is done, that you have set your audio input and output preferences on your computer and that the USB ASIO Driver is set to 96kHz sample rate. You then need to go into the SQ and back to the I/O Page. On the USB tab of the I/O page, make sure in the top left corner that the USB driver that is selected is the USB B. Go to the audio set up of the SQ and make sure the sample rate is 96kHz and is set to internal.

Now to set up the patch for your recording during the live session, go back to the I/O Page. On the left hand side, select the Inputs and select the Tie Line Tab. The wherever your inputs are patched to for the live show e.g. Slink, select the Slink tab on the left hand side which is part of the tie lines tab. You can now patch you Slink inputs to your USB B inputs, which you can select on the top/right hand side of the screen.

That way you now have inputs for the live session and for recording into your DAW.

    Hi @bob,

The app goes full screen now to make the most of the available screen size.

There is no setting to change this but if you want to view the status bar you just have to swipe down from the top of the screen. The status bar will appear for a few seconds before being removed again.

    This is an Android feature.

If you require any further support with this, please start a ticket at https://support.allen-heath.com/

    Hi @FranksUMC

It sounds like you are sending audio to the projector and not the desk.

To amend this, go into your settings/preferences on your Mac and assign the desk to be the audio output of your laptop.

If you need further support with this, please start a ticket at https://support.allen-heath.com/ .

    Hi Stephan,

I have had a brief look at this for you without a ticket being logged.

After looking at the specs of the PA system you are using and testing the local AES output of an SQ into an AES input rack (to simulate your AES input on your speaker), it looks like you are possibly having some attenuation issues with the AES input on the speaker system. All signals on the SQ AES outputs and the AES inputs rack were the same level and were clean with no issues.

If you are swapping from trying an AES input to then trying an analogue input on your speaker, then these will be being processed differently. This could explain why you are seeing a difference in output level as the AES inputs will be using DSP, but the analogue will not. I would suggest investigating the AES inputs on your PA system first.

However as I mentioned before, please feel free to log a ticket with us in product support and we will be happy to assist you further.

    Kindest Regards,
    Nicole
